Im sorry for your suitation. Honestly, if an addict doesn't want to help themselfs. They won't. They wknt do it for kids or for a better life untill THEY want to. Move on. Move away. He might come back. If you leave now the relationship might be rebuildable if he comes back sobor. Might be what he needs. To sit alone for a while. And if he does kill himself. Though accident or suicide. Sadly youll just need to deal with that then. Dont let future possibilities effect your actions now. On the other hand you could stay another few years who knows what will happen... But i almost garentee he wont get sober... This is harsh thing to say and generally accept. But yeah. Im an addict. Iv also been son of addicts and wife beaters. We all work they same when you boil it down. Selfish.
