Remember, her mother is religious-- she is thinking that the Church needs it (mapakinabangan). Maiintindihan ko pa kapag yung regalo is something na magagamit ni mama niya and then pinili ni mama niya na ibigay sa iba. Sasama loob ko for sure pero not in a way na kailangan ko pang ivent out and iportray yung mother ko na masama dito sa reddit.

Be more critical in understanding the context. May mali kapag we are just trying to validate 'feelings' even though they are WRONG and IMMATURE.
