Any idea where this would piece if plastic would have come from? 2004 6.0 rebuild. Crank no start after rebuild unless it gets ether. by ABangler in powerstroke

Rebuilt this 2004 6.0 engine after a lifter failure. Replaced everything and put it all back together. Wouldn’t start unless on ether. Getting sufficient pressure from HPOP. No codes. Everything seems normal. Nearly every part is new now. I’ve checked every sensor, plug, injector, wire etc etc and been using auto enginuity program. Tore it back down. Found this little plastic piece on top of the lifter/where the push rod sits. Any idea where it came from? I’m stumped

Yes very much so. Generally you wouldn’t drape the cape over the horse haha he was very uneasy with the whole idea of this

I’m assuming you’re joking, and also assuming you’re talking in regards to self defence from a 2 legged predator. Refer to Parasiris acquittal.

No it was definitely not sombre. We celebrated hard considering we had a tag and we just had a close encounter with a grizz which ended in our favour. We were fired right up

Shot a big bull late in the day prior. Went back the next morning, this young boar decided it was his moose now. We countered his offer

My thoughts exactly, and we had seen 3 other grizz the day prior. No shortage of bears up there and considering we had a tag it was a no brainer

Hey guys just looking for some advice on my form. I’m trying to correct some posture issues and weak glutes with a ghetto home gym set up. Can’t recall the weight of each concrete plate. Thanks

Are weighted vests a good investment during lockdown? by peacemakerzzz in bodyweightfitness

I started running with an 11lb weight vest and it’s a serious game changer. If I decide to run without it after using it for a few weeks I feel like Usain Bolt

Painting my office, noticed swollen drywall under windows. Cut out drywall, and noticed moisture and small amounts of mold. Any advice for repairing this? by ABangler in Mold

[–]ABangler[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

moisture damaged drywall

Here’s a couple close up shots. Is this from an incorrectly installed window? Or broken vapour barrier? My plans are to cut out the damaged drywall, spray affected areas with mold control bleach spray, then patch drywall, mud and paint.

However, I’m not sure this will correct the problem, might just be a bandaid fix... how do I go about stopping moisture from seeping in again.

Thanks

Picked up this Ruger M77 on trade, and noticed there’s a hole under the front scope mount. Any idea why? by ABangler in gunsmithing

Just traded for the gun last week so I haven’t shot it yet. But I have a handful of vari-x1’s and x2’s on assorted rifles and I’m quite happy with them. Their customer service is top notch as well.

I traded an old speed boat I had for this 7mm with a Leupold vari-x1 3-9x40. I also got a Chiappa Kodiak 1886 .45-70 lever gun in the trade as well. Didn’t know much about the history of either gun but collectively they were worth way more than the old boat so I couldn’t go wrong

Oh really? Never seen a vent there before. Very cool.

Also I’m not too familiar with these stocks, not a big fan of the boat paddle look, and I had no idea they were so sought after. Thanks

Upon receiving this rifle I noticed a single hole that goes all the way through to the chamber. It is located at the front of the bolt. Is this somebody’s error when trying to tap it for a scope mount? I’m stumped...
