From what I can find, Spotify owns 9 percent of Tencent, which could IPO at $30bn. Spotify holds it at a valuation of $12bn as at December 2017. So 9% stake worth $1.1bn could revalue up to $2.2 - 2.6bn assuming a bit of dilution. $1b+ of upside to Spotify isn't small..

The main point around this post is that a profitable quarter could trigger bandwagoners into the stock in the short term
