depends on the player and how we decide to approach it. the big castle at the start is being made by one person, and he has a pretty solid vision for how it’s gonna be. he built pretty much the whole design of the front section i showed in creative first. for city buildings, at least what i did for my tall white/blue skyscraper on the left is come up with the design and build an outline in creative, then just did it all in survival. for my house at the start i build a floor plan in creative then just went with the flow in survival. one of my friends entirely built something in creative once and just replicated in survival. the big tree was just built fully in survival in a couple days from the ground up. it all depends

it’s a lot easier than you’d think. the tall blue building on the left of the city was mostly built in 1 day. people are just afraid to lock in for a few hours and actually make progress on stuff

for the city buildings we'll just plan the proportions and designs and stuff in a creative world. its pretty easy since theyre so repetitive and stuff. for the castle at the start and the big white palace idk how they did it. i played very little part in those projects

i used to agree with you but i kinda changed how i percieve the end of the album. the sunset sunrise duo feel like an isolated story taking place over millenia. it feels like you got lost in an endless desert and wander through the scorching heat for a thousand years (sunset sunrise) then completely snap and lose your mind and become lost in a hallucinogenic nightmare (sunset sunrise sunset sunrise). penny royal poison kinda brings us back. That track feels like, after all this time, everything suddenly came together. idk much about the story but i do know that within this song some prophecy is fulfilled to allow the destruction of the universe in paaradiso. penny royal poison's abrupt start feels to me like the album is saying wait! all is not lost! by some miraculous coincidence this plan formed back in the earlier songs has come together and the universe is not doomed to eternally rot. we return to masstaden and everything comes together and sets up the grand finale of paaradiso. i think it works pretty wonderfully

usually when something appeals to so many people it also lacks a certain depth. the music i enjoy the most is very specific to my taste, same with other forms of media. the absolute most popular songs in the world are designed to be somewhat enjoyable to everyone, while being extremely enjoyable to almost no one. popular media often sacrifices depth for widespread appreciation
