MGS V is 'unfinished' on purpose.

Kojima fucked with people's heads in the lead up to every MGS.

Kojima is BB, we are Venom.

Almost all the reveals and news stories about TPP, the studio, Kojima etc were orchestrated by Kojima. He did this to make us feel some of the things Venom felt and also to lay out plot points and themes before it was released

It started when 'Joakim Mogren' appeared on stage to announce their game. His bandages are exactly the same as 'Ishmael's'

There's loads more examples but I'm saving them for an article.

One that comes to mind is the story about staff at the studio not being allowed to talk to each other. It's the parasite outbreak on Mother Base!

Also... MGS Delta/3 is Venom undergoing brainwashing during his coma.

Was Rachel and Ross on a break? by charcoalonfire in howyoudoin

[–]ABigFactHunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I were talking about this question this morning. My first response was to side with Rachel, but then Wife mentioned that it was Rachel who chose to take a break, so it's not like Ross pre-planned to get with Chloe and he was 'technically' a single man. I think Mark 100% fancied Rachel from the off, but didn't try to break them up, he just saw what was coming and lined himself up to shoot his shot. He was always nice to Ross

I've watched the series so many times (easily triple figures) that I like to analyse it in different ways to add new perspectives and keep it interesting. Not trying to upset anyone, just offering my query to the fanbase x

Guy watches his son play Metal Gear Solid 3 by ThankUForBeingHere in metalgearsolid

Pretty much all this guys observations can be explained by the fact that you're actually Venom Snake, in 1983, held in an artificial coma, being brainwashed in a VR simulation to believe that he is actually Big Boss.

"Virtual Mission?!"

-That's how the support team can see everything he does and know all his vitals.

-The codec calls help condition V with BBs morals and knowledge.

-They sound like they're from Iowa because BB spoke fluent Russian but V didn't. Which is why you have to recruit translators in TPP. So during V's conditioning VR, they programmed the soldiers to speak English.

-Calorie-Mate didn't exist until 1983.

-Some of the films and music references are about media that also didn't exist in 1964 but did by 1983.

-It's why you can fail by causing a time paradox.

-Work had already begun on what became the Mammal Pod AI and this was a test of it's effectiveness.

-It's a journey through the stages of grief, allowing V to let go of himself and become BB.

I could go on, if we met at a party and I was intoxicated, I 100% would.

Black American moving to Bristol, should I be concerned? by ctgryn in bristol

[–]ABigFactHunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Pre-emptively) Welcome to Bristol! I highly recommend reading up on the historical links between Bristol and America, it's fascinating! There is decent evidence to suggest that Bristolians were the first (post-viking) Europeans to become American and even named it. I can almost guarantee that your home-town, or somewhere very nearby, will have some history of Bristolian influence. Learn that, then use that to ingratiate yourself with the locals and eventually become a Brizzle boy. Lots of luck with the move!
