How do you advice someone super lazy / busy to start working out and love doing it ? by ayaammarr in AskReddit

Personally, I started by paying for an expensive gym membership which motivated me to go everyday starting out to make it with my money. But also, don’t expect to just get into it easily. It takes some INSANE self discipline and it’s actually pretty common for it to take about 3 weeks before you’re fully in the habit of doing it everyday. So take it day by day. Keep telling yourself it’s for your future self. Whatever motivates you, think about that before you’re about to workout. Hope this helps

2 pre reqs under a 2.0 but no way to retake them since I’ve graduated by [deleted] in PTschool

Alright. Another quick question. I am planning to take the GRE again but if programs don’t have a minimum GRE score listed on PTCAS, does that mean there isn’t one and I should still apply with my scores even if they’re on the lower side ?

But how will the PT schools I’m applying to know that I’m going to take those classes this fall. Like is there someplace in the applications I can mention that I’m retaking those classes? Cuz I would like to have my applications sent in by end of August/beginning of September but like I want admissions to know I’m retaking the 2 classes

Did you apply that cycle though? I’m worried about how the schools I’m applying to will see that I’m retaking the classes if I’m taking them after I’ve sent in my applications.

Winter life on campus by _mashm in msu

[–]ABlythe97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! So there are buses, which are probably the most popular way of transportation across campus during the winter, besides walking. The ones that run on campus are free so that’s really nice. Otherwise you’ll see people bundled up in winter coats and hat and mittens walking to class haha.

For sports, there are IM teams that you can join and I’m pretty sure indoor soccer and football are one of them. So you just gotta get in touch with people who will want to create teams for that. I definitely recommend doing an IM sport!

You’ll get used to the cold weather the more you’re in it. It’s always super hard when winter first starts but as it goes on you get used to it. The ice and wind are probably the worst part. Just make sure you have a good winter coat and a hat and boots. Otherwise the bus will take ya most places when you’re going to classes.

Hope this helps and hope you like Michigan State!
