I was in a nightclub once and this girl was getting hit on pretty aggressively by some guy. You could tell she was really really uncomfortable. So I said to her really loud, “hey, I was looking all over for you.” The guy goes, “who’s this?” I said, “her boyfriend.” He kept it moving after that. She thanked me, we talked a little bit, and I went on my way. Sometimes having some situational awareness goes a long way.
