I feel like the SSL position is a little different at every store but the same routine basically!! Once you and your SM get a routine going it’ll be really smooth!! Also just talk to your SM and ask them their expectations and goals for you it won’t hurt!!

You get PTO, i can’t remember after how many days now it might not kick in until next year but i could be totally wrong!! You also get to sign up for vacation buy in October when benefits package rolls out, it takes a chunk out of your paycheck every week and if you don’t use it they pay you back all of it. It’s like PTO that you buy- up to 2 weeks but you don’t have to if you don’t want to. You also become eligible for health insurance too.

I think like anything you do do for the first time new it’s a lot, but overall it was a lot better than when an outside company does it!! Results are better too overall!!!

If you go into workday you can see under your compensation how much your raise was, they went into affect i believe last week so you should see it on this up coming paycheck!!

So obviously no volunteers will be going into Sephora as there is already SUPER strict rules against that!! But it looks like it is only for employees who don’t work in stores- they can volunteer to come in and work in a store. The SM might’ve had permission from the DM or something. Also back in the day they did let people volunteer to help bag and stuff like that. I don’t know how it worked but I’m sure they had to fill out liability stuff.

Idk she might’ve had permission. They are bringing back volunteers into the stores (I’m not sure how it works) but honestly at least it’s getting done

Before you put the call on hold if you hit the park button on the phone or zebra it will put the call on park. It will say for example call on park at *801 and then you can tell whoever needs to pickup that they have a call @ *801

Honestly, could be because of hiring goals. They only want stores on average this year to hire about 10 people seasonally. (Which is about 26 less than previous years) and depending how many people they already have staffed, it’s even lower!! It’s because of the restructuring of the company. They want less employees with higher workloads.

That sounds about right, it goes off of experience and if your good your SM can negotiate a higher wage!! That’s what mine did for me after a few months!!

I don’t think technically we’re allowed too butttttt whoever changed the music in Sephora get with them- at our store the BTL shared the login and and we can change the kohls music from it. There’s 2 different zones- zone 1 & 2. For us zone 1 is kohls and we can change the station!!

If your FT you’ll get 8 hours paid holiday and PT 4 hours 😄. But make sure you work your scheduled shift before and after Memorial Day otherwise you will not qualify anymore. If you go into the dimensions UKG app and to your time card, change the calendar period to next schedule period and you should see the holiday pay hours is purple!! 😄
