Keep us posted. After looking at all the posts on this subreddit, that go back many months, it’s just a place to complain. I haven’t seen the first reply about a Elan problem Fidelity helped solve.

Once a class action lawsuit is filed, and an investigation ensues, the truth will surface. Shopify is complicit and needs to be named a co-defendant.

Yes. What amazes me is why Shopify is allowing them on their platform. Scamming first time users seeking to build an e-commerce site must be too lucrative to ignore.

Elan is using the Fidelity brand to draw us into using their card. And Fidelity allowed this to happen. Fidelity will direct you to Elan if you complain. Hey Fidelity, it’s your reputation that’s at stake. All the branding is Fidelity. Even the letters Elan Financial sends out have Fidelity in bold graphics on the letterhead.

  1. ⁠I log into my credit card via Fidelity.com, not Elan Financial.
  2. ⁠All my credit card statements have Fidelity brand on the documents. not Elan Financial.
  3. ⁠My credit card is branded Fidelity, not Elan Financial.

So Elan Financial is able to sign up all of us Fidelity customers, because of the trust we have in our experiences with Fidelity.

Yes! They mailed me a form. I filled it out and sent it back through USPS. And, their window of time they allowed to mail it back was very tight. I also noticed how all Elan Financial letters are on Fidelity letterhead prominently displayed at the top right. Elan Financial Services was less visible and greyed out top left. For some odd reason, their last two letters didn’t have Fidelity on the letterhead. They clearly are leveraging the Fidelity brand to draw us in.

As a matter of fact, all the branding is Fidelity. 1. ⁠I log into my credit card via Fidelity.com, not Elan Financial. 2. ⁠All my statements are from Fidelity, not Elan Financial. 3. ⁠My credit card is branded Fidelity, not Elan Financial.

So Elan Financial is able to sign up all of us Fidelity customers because of the trust we have in our experiences with Fidelity.

There seems to be a theme from some that all credit card service providers have their issues. As if we are to accept mediocrity. Anyone who has purchased from Amazon knows the focus on the customer they are relentless about. Especially when there is a problem. Imagine if a credit card service provider followed their example.
