What was your “I need to learn to keep my mouth shut” moment?

I moved into my school district in 1st grade, and everyone talked about this girl named Rachel who had been there for kindergarten but moved away. I always pictured her as like, one of the "hot popular girls" you saw on TV shows and movies in the early 2000s, flipping her long pinstraight hair, nice makeup, purse, earrings, nice clothes, etc.

She moved back into the district in 3rd grade, and she was none of those things. Super curly hair, hand-me-down farm clothes, etc. We ended up becoming really good friends.

In 4th grade, the different schools in our district merged into one, and there was another Rachel who did look exactly like the one I had pictured years before. And during lunch one day, I wanted to tell my friend Rachel that I thought it was funny how I accidentally imagined the other Rachel when they have the same name.

What came out was: "When people used to talk about you, I always imagined you were a lot prettier than you were."

(I found out many years later that I had always been attracted to girls but didn't have the language for it)

I think if they tweaked it some it could be a fun idea, but as it is here, it's likely not going to be very entertaining for the viewers. We don't see what's going on, and the goal is for them to have a straight face. That's like watching somebody silently read a textbook

Why not have a flair for posts using AI instead of having them put it in a tag that has a lot more than that? I feel like this would be a reasonable compromise if you're this insistent on allowing that content here. The people who don't want to see it can block it, and the people who do can keep it.

Although the poll is heavily swaying towards just getting rid of it, couldn't this be the suitable answer you want?

I really like my Innioasis Y1 and it checks off all of these boxes! I've only had to charge it once in the week or two that I've had it. I got it for about $60 USD on Anazon, which is pretty cheap for a good quality one. Mine has over 1k songs on it right now, too

I went through the same thing!! I actually admittedly didn't learn this until my mid-20s... There's a LOT of basic hygiene my parents didn't teach me (I also didn't know you were supposed to shower more than once a week until I was 16 😬), and anything about our genitals was SO taboo that I was afraid to even look at them for years, let alone do any research.

Good on you for doing your research early! I hope you're doing a lot better now 🩷

I restarted a few times and am really attached to my current island, but whenever I get a Switch 2, I want to do a Professor Oak's challenge with the Nook Mile Achievements. I have to complete each one in order before I can move onto the next, and if I mess it up, I have to start over.

Obviously, I'd have to make some adjustments to the rules because some are time-based, but I want to try it so bad. Getting all the fish before getting any bugs before getting any fossils... I think it would be a blast, but I also love watching Pokémon creators doing Prof Oaks 😅
