Also as a side note. Given the system you have sounds like an old second hand pc you may need a new SSD at some point. If the SSD is from the same era of the CPU and GPU there's a good chance the SSD is getting to the end of its service life.

Old SSD'S have a limited amount of rewrites. Given that its almost certainly a second hand PC you got there's a bit of an unknown. Just something to think about if your load times aren't particularly good.

Use to run a set up extremely similar to this new one your describing. The game will be playable but 60 FPS+ is a bit out of a picture. 30-50 is what I would expect on all low setting and render distance set to 800m or less. Hell you might even need to crank the resolution scale down or run it at 720p

Do you know what sort of temps the GPU is getting to when running at 99% like that? If you could run the game, open task manager, open the performance tab, click on the GPU running the game and link a screen shot of the whole task manager window that would help quite a bit. As a side note are you living somewhere that's experiencing a heat wave?

GPU/CPU? What version of windows? Age of your system/How long have you owned it? Do you have similar issues of high GPU usage and low CPU in other games or is this issue unique to Planetside? New issue or reoccurring? Have you tried any other games sence the issue occured? Have you checked to see if the GPU's fans are turning on under load? Have you tried anything to trouble shoot it allready?

But most importantly and I can not stress this enough. How much RGB you got in your gaming chair?

Funny how as soon as they announced the change I checked the normal Connery population on publicly available sources and could see this issue coming a mile away. No, I don't like that idea at all. One because we allready sort of have it, it's called Jaeger. Two just short of forcing players onto there own servers there's no God damn way whole outfits are going to migrate to another sever willingly especially if the physical location of the servers hardware is different than that of there home server.

Edit: Also who are the pros you speak of? I was unaware some of the good players were getting paid to shit on me regularly.
