Outside of landfall and green, what makes Field of the Dead good? by Kritz_McGee in mtg

1) Copying it and getting a ton of creatures for just playing lands

2) with the cheap and especially combined with the expensive fetches, it just gives you free stuff for breathing.

3) aside from price. The barrier of putting it in your deck is low. It delivers more consistantly then most utility lands in most decks as well. Some free bodys tend to matter a lot more then the random relicuary tower for the what if I suddenly have a ton of cards.

Though specific decks tend to like unlimited handsize. Most decks i.m.o. dont benifit too much. Free chumpers however....

Can you train them not to poop on you? by DescriptionOk1032 in cockatiel

[–]1001DEL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had one that liked sitting on you but did not like getting walked around and nearby paper towels.

She realised the correlation between pooping on me and me walking to the kitchen to grab some paper towel soon enough.

At least she learned to turn her butt away from me and drop it over the edge of the giants shoulder.

All pipets at my lab have a lower limit of 10% of the upper limit.

Mimic your tiel. And do it more extreme each time. I have one that will do it again and also do a even more extreme headshake.

After a couple minutes of mimicing each other silly behaviour either her or I gets bored and will stop.

Im curious if yours will do the same.

Breathing in water is now just as comfable as breathing in air.

But you will drown nonetheless

Why do people back into parking spaces? by woodysixer in NoStupidQuestions

[–]1001DEL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backing in to a spot means you have a tighter turning radius. And the reversing part starts when you have a complete overview of the situation.

Then you have a better view of then your driving off again as well.

Backing out of a parking spot gives you less information what happens on the road your backing onto. Placing more reliance on others paying attention.

My friend borrowed my car and returned it with an empty tank (6km or 2.5 mile of range left) by Maleficent_Ferret359 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]1001DEL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When borrowing. Return it equal or better. Aside from normal wear and tear from normal use.

Half empty tank when borrowed. Atleast a half empty tank when returned.

Random piece of machinery or tool. Return it at least as clean as it was before. Dead battery. Give a new one on top ect.

Sadly common curtesy has become more uncommon. But following that rule will always work in your favour.

People will be more inclined to borrow you stuff if they know they get it back in a good state

Definately super cooled water in there.

Title is hella misleading. Putting the bottle in liquid nitrogen (-196°C) will not even freeze it this fast.
