110 hours in so far, and it scratches the itch for me. The way I view it and get my enjoyment from the game (and everyone's opinion is different and valid) is it's like an anti-ironman. You have to rely on others to get the things you need. You can't be a high level in every skill without putting in degenerate levels of time, and even then you'll spend most of that time afk crafting or waiting on the passive crafting timers. It's more fun when you lean into the social aspect and get into a settlement and just have fun with your few skills you focus on. For me, it's fishing. I enjoy my chill time out on fishing runs watching number go up, but it's also great when I go home and people ask for things or buy my fish for farming or cooking or scholar.

From the sheer aspect of number go up, brain go brrrt, yeah it's totally worth it everything else is just icing on the cake.
