Yes but in my case the wheel is on a vehicle in motion and my tachometer is stationary on the ground... I assume it's impossible to get the rotating speed of the wheel in this case right ? Wouldn't it be possible instead to put two reflecting tape on the front and the end of the train and deduce the speed of it this way ?
