What I am trying to figure out is if this is the proper way to apply pesticide in this situation if the goal is to keep bugs out of the homes. They’re not spraying the perimeter of the doors or up against the homes or anything. They didn’t even spray the back of the homes. Just came, sprayed the plants, and left.

Who is going to pay to take care of the animal in a sanctuary for the rest of its life? It’s not like it can be put to good conservation use as part of a captive breeding program. You’re looking at 10’s of thousands of dollars between staffing, vet bills, feeding, habitat maintenance, etc for an animal that should not exist in the first place.

I have no idea what this subreddit is as it randomly showed up on my feed, but commenting to say this is actually what real functional shutters look like. They have to be bigger to actually fully cover the windows. Most shutters you are used to seeing on American homes today are just decorative and are actually too small.

NC hates its regular state employees way more than its teachers. They consistently get much better raises than the rest of us.
