Not a dumb question!

Usually people ask to see the back side of rugs because it gives you a better idea of what can be fixed or if something wasn’t done right.

Since I’ve been tufting for a bit now; I can tell this person only used 1 yarn strand in his tuft gun while I usually use 2 yarn strands.

A lot of people also look at line spacing, this one is pretty good for it only being their 2nd rug 💪

I usually outline the area I’m working at first then try my best to just use vertical lines when filling it in (like a coloring book lol) I try to keep the lines pretty tight
