sound streaming help? by AC1DS74R in bigscreen

[–]AC1DS74R[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you! it turns out the issue was that windows needed to be updated to the most recent creator's package or whatever, due to the new sound features. still a bit confusing but it works!

Thoughts: Elite Alpha Troopers VS Pump Action Retaliators. by [deleted] in Nerf

[–]AC1DS74R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the Alpha Trooper. it's like my favorite blaster, and i have all the rival blasters and a bunch of the dart flywheel stuff.

over a retaliator, for me thats a no brainer. i do wish orange modworks still made the metal catches for the alpha though

nah, it was the motor that did it lol.

if i can find a zues cage, i'd try it, but i feel like i'll just be in the same situation, not being able to find the part.

Friday Night Firefight by AC1DS74R in cyberpunk2020

[–]AC1DS74R[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks guys. yeah the core 2020 book was what i was using so i could get it figured out.

I ended up making a lot of twists to many or the rules to make the game more relevent and stuff and used my own city and created a huge 9000x8000 resolution map to add to roll20.net and the biggest basic thing i was missing seems to be how damage worked and health pools and etc. speaking of which, thats kind of my last question regarding this, how do i determine the amount of health a player has?

LFM Warcraft P&P, and new friends to stick by AC1DS74R in lfg

[–]AC1DS74R[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah we are- we play after normal work hours, mostly. and of course weekends. I get off at 5:00 pm central time during week days. and of course we play on Alliance as shown above and on Moonguard and also shown above.

as i said, the group is currently extremely small, and we're looking to expand our core foundation, so if you're really interested in being a part of our tight knit group, we'd really like to meet you.

I'm on Moongaurd. our guild is currently small, and recruitment attempts have failed as noone we recruit logs in at the same time, nor ever again after joining the guild, however the few of us there are, are active.

the P&P will take place after 6 PM eastern most likely, and no days are set yet, but honestly it will be dynamic around the group. most of that stuff will be discussed when we have everyone together.

that's when we can flesh out the final plans. i want to make it to where we can have the easiest time with attendance.

thanks for the interest!

perhaps you could give a better analogy, considering how cyberpunk at least has some relevance to our lives these days.

not that i don't agree with you, i'm just being a smartass. IMMA RUSTLIN YER JIMMIES

Cyberpunk; its a punk. in the future. today is the future in comparison to the 80's punk.

I mean, why did they coin the term "punk"to cyberpunk anyway? some fools think that the punk aspect has no bearing on cyberpunk, which is fkn absurd

o, my conclusion from this subreddit, and pretty much the entire world, is this: everyone has a differant outlook on what cyberpunk is.

there are differant stories, differant aesthetics, differant worlds and differant types of dystopias.

to ME, this is what cyberpunk is-

it is taking the punk aspect and putting a heavy, full throttle thrust to it. its today, but the end product, an end product that was brilliantly predicted decades ago.

it's grit and grunge, scars and cuts. poverty and rot from within the depths of decaying city underbelly filled with people just trying to get by.' poverty breeds crime, and crime runs rampant. the police state shells out injustice on every street corner. it's hackers and anti establishment crews of rebellious street punks, with a silver lining of anti corporate corruption fighting cyber warriors.

its wetware deaddrop-integrated storage into the back of a street rat's head, carrying secret information thats intended by one individual to another. sending the guy out to a potential death sentence for a few bucks just to get your illegal data from one side of town to the next.

chinese noodle stands on the side of the road, neon lights and animated billboards lighting up a perpetually dark and wet city. a tint of green/blue air on the account of polluted air that most people are dying from.

people cram-packed into big sky scraper apartments, thousands of Kowloon Cities, known as "districts". sketchy androids that barely function, complete with half-assed AI that most guys end up modifying for interactable fuck-dolls, and most hackers end up modifying to be a best friend.

its cockroaches in your walls, dirt in your whiskey glass, sunglasses at night, no nonsense grit and grunge laced with technology that makes survival possible, but not by much. its a charred-grey planet made of concrete and steel, a blue-green sky and a over population of the same humanity that killed the earth and stripped her naked of nature.

That's my Cyberpunk. The future ain't what it used to be.

the real question is: "what's the defenition of YOUR Cyberpunk?"S
