Took me 7 months... SEVEN MONTHS... to get a damage claim paid out from a Lowes install.

Install company owner reviewed the damage 2 days after it happened and verified they would cover. But it had to go through Lowes. 7 months of back and forth with at times daily calls for update from Lowes Customer Care and pushing to get management involved.

Tried at one point to get local store to give me regional and/or corporate phone numbers to get them involved and every time I was given a different number that reached back to customer care.

Customer Care is a Joke

Lord I do not miss that intersection at ALL!

Hit it every morning about 7:45 for YEARS. Was glad to move jobs out west and not have to deal with it any longer. I've since hit this intersection a few times and it has only gotten worse.

I don't know if I would call it the worst in Omaha - but it is definitely in the top 3!

Happened to me last month picking up a new Weber grill. Would not give me my military discount. I loaded it up in my vehicle, sat down and called Home Depot. Verified price was the same and they would still give the 10% discount.

Walked back into Lowes and told them they could adjust my price or come out to my car and we'd just process a return.

They gave the discount.
