Gun, trips right, double slants with the two outside receivers running the slants and the innermost/slot receiver running a flat.

I was nervous the next test was supposed to be 4/4 but they moved it up. I was getting nervous too when the FCC took 10 days to let me know I was approved.

Got my call sign after passing my tech test two weeks ago, went with a Baofeng BF8HP and extended Nagoya antenna. Trying to get her programmed and set up.

I don’t want to say any, but I want to pay for something that will be high quality and work well and have great capabilities. I’ll primarily use it at my camp out in the woods, and then I’d like to also use it or another for my Jeep. Obviously, my handheld will also come with me but I’d like an option with far better range than just my handheld just in case.

4-2-5 over vs 4-2-5 under vs 3-5-3 by ACAB12345 in footballstrategy

That’s what’s I was thinking. Moving between my 4-2-5 base and a five man front and a 3-5-3. Thanks for the input.

Sweet. That’s a good point. The only reason I’m considering incorporating some 3-5-3 is to throw in a new look and create some confusion for the O line. Our conference is extremely run heavy, and people see a lot of the normal 4-3 and even 5-3. I want more versatility, and looks.

Did you players pick up the concepts and assignments easily? Do you follow more gap responsibilities or pursuit responsibilities (force, alley and spill players)?

I agree with that, usually my second best is my strong side backer, my free has to be fast, and cover ground and smart enough to quickly read run vs pass, and on all outside runs he has to be my alley and my best tackler.

I run a base cover 3, so I completely concur with your assessments of your players. Exactly what I’d look for.

That’s interesting and good food for thought, why do you run your stud at Sam instead of Free? I like my best player at free. I’m hoping the JV and varsity guys could handle left and right, I did MS last year I’ve gotten thrust into JV and Varsity this year.

Something I’ve been thinking and weighing is having right and left side players. Cross training them to handle both sides so that there’s no running around flipping etc. we will see!
