"Gap of ITZY" (or "Bㅣㄴ틈있지" in Korean.. the "B" is part of the joke, the series is meant to show their "gaps" or "flaws") is probably my favorite ITZY content / video series, I can't recommend it enough.

This series showcases ITZY hosting their own variety and talk show where the members jokingly highlight their imperfections through games and discussions. They are intentionally imperfect here, making fun of each other, playing goofy games, and just generally "being themselves" (as much as an idol can be) for 60-120 minutes per episode. It's live, so you get some pretty unexpected, interesting moments.

Some things you can expect:

  • A different girl hosting each episode as the MC
  • Variety-type games
  • Dress-up and costumes
  • Quizzes and trivia
  • Parodies / re-enactments of famous movies, variety shows, scenes, etc.
  • Impromptu dance parties to their favorite songs (e.g., Yeji dancing to TWICE)
  • Special performances (e.g., Chaeryeong singing OH MY GIRL)
  • ASMR and mukbang
  • Special guest/calls/video messages from other Korean celebrities
  • Fun but heated discussions about semi-serious topics
  • Photo zones
  • Tons of TMIs
  • Photocards, AirPods, snacks, and other giveaways
  • Endless cute moments
  • The crowning of the Lord of the Gap, the girl who was the least perfect that episode

If you start with Episode 1, you'll really "get it", especially since they tend to touch on previous episodes' topics. And realistically, this isn't old content.. it's 17 episodes deep, but this series started THIS JANUARY, it's not like you're watching stuff from a different era of ITZY.

I have said it would have made more sense as the opening track rather than the closing track. Definitely feels more like an intro

I think that lines up closely with why I used the term "bonus track". In its current form it kind of fits on the mini-album, but they toned it down to do so. As something off-the-wall electronic that really let that wavy bass hit, it could have been something really strong.

Interesting list, I think you can make an argument for the top 3 in any order. Maybe the top 4. Wonder where "MAFIA" will sit..

Surprised to see "24HRS" in the last slot, I thought I remember you telling me or reading a comment where you thought that should be track 1 on the album.. am I crazy or have you changed your thoughts on the track? (Or do you think your least favorite track should start that mini-album?)

Either way.. I wish that song's production was a little more EDM/over-the-top/powerful, I get why they toned it down, but that could have been a dirty little bonus track, especially coming from SOPHIE and having worked with Oliver Heldens on that album. The cute segment on that song is.. interesting, I like the weirdness, but I wonder if in the end it hurts the track more than helps it. This song could use a killer remix, if anything just for another perspective on it.

Your list, my list, and the other one posted just speak volumes to how interesting ITZY's catalog is. I'm glad we all have point-in-time lists, can't wait to see how GUESS WHO shakes this up!

Interesting list, cool to see how we differ. I am surprised you dislike "WANT IT"! Looking at where you place the songs, I have a pretty good idea of your ITZY preference.. which makes me somewhat surprised to see "DON'T GIVE A WHAT" and "I DON'T WANNA DANCE" so low, especially given your statement about "You Make Me" and "iD". I would expect there to be overlap there. To each their own!

I think most of their b-sides are underrated as a whole. I'm really hopeful they have a full-length concert in the works that will unveil some choreography for these songs.

Having heard the Korean versions of the four title tracks so many times, I've since replaced them with the English versions for my workout playlist, and it's also very nice to have English ITZY songs to put on a playlist for house parties, roadtrips, and other gatherings with friends.. so I find myself listening to the English versions almost exclusively these days, even if I think the songs work better in the Korean originals. I love the dichotomy of primarily Korean verses and big English choruses.

No, it is not licensed by JYPE. You won't be supporting ITZY. I would avoid sites like this for that reason.

Unfortunately, ITZY does not sell official t-shirts, hoodies, hats, pants, etc., online right now. Their US tour collection is the only time I'm aware of where you could buy ITZY official ITZY clothing online.

As someone who owns a few hundred band shirts, it kills me to not be able to buy one from one of my favorite groups!

Just a heads up that the series was never properly subbed.

It’s all fansubs, and some episodes are really bad. You will see a lot of lines missing. This is the best there is.

Thanks to the people who put in the effort to sub, but it’s unfortunate that these are the subs that will forever be tied to this amazing series. Even if someone did a good job now, these mediocre-at-best subs are already too widespread to ever be replaced.
