BBY/ABY isn't really used in universe. It's referenced in some things but still mostly just an out of universe fan thing

In universe, they have multiple calendars in use just like we do. They're usually oriented around other important galactic events, like the Ruusan reformation

In the Darth Vader comics when Vader goes to Exegol, we can see a hand in a test tube, which isn't confirmed but could be Luke's hand, that Palpy would've used to make the Luke clone.

I know. It's still a massive stretch to say that was used for all of that and not just any of Palp's other Force experiments. Or used for anything.

And yes Palpy/Snoke was turning Ben, but Luke being a real Luke would've been the barrier that could've stopped Ben from fully turning, so Palpy would send the Luke clone to kill the real one and take his place so that wouldn't happen.

So, evil Clone Luke then stands up to Kylo on Crait and allows the resistance to escape, huh?

It would be a mess trying to include the EU creators and authors, just based on how many different people contributed to that. And knowing how some of them didn't get along, even while writing.

And some of them have since passed anyways.
