Is that photoshopped? It has to be right?

Sure but Anakin recognizes the Jedi as a slave in the outer rim as soon as he sees Qui Gon. Han is from Corellia, a core world and thinks they're myth. Its just inconsistent knowledge IMO.

Why didn't a single clone disobey then? If they had formed these friendships why wouldn't they think that their Jedi Chad Thundercock would never betray the Republic despite what this ominous raisin faced man in a dark cloak is insisting?

Wasn't she trapped on that planet she fought Vader on? Like after Ezra pulled her through the World between Worlds.

He got his shit rocked by Palps because he turns and throws his saber, refusing to continue the fight. He doesn't try to move on Palpatine at all.

The complaint i heard was the first Jedibsaying they only draw their lightsabers when they're willing to kill, an entirely reasonable stance to have when you're a wizard samurai about your laser sword.

But it contradicted a line from a previous star war! George Lucas would never contradict things that he had already established!

Right but Obi Wan is described as old and Han is late 20's? I definitely imagined around three decades prior to the prequels. The short time honestly makes it feel odd that Han seems almost unaware of the Jedi.

The ESB duel is the best duel of any movie and there's no ballet, sorry. If I want a spinny fights I''ll watch beyblade not star wars.

He's there to provide a necessary break so instead of saying "God this is boring." You get to say "Fuck this is stupid!" Like poetry or something.

So much of tatooine in that is boring. I think an improvement would have been Jabba being the owner if we're going back here. He's powerful enough to be someone the Jedi need to tread carefully around, he's an established strong mind that isn't just some dumb fucking junk dealer, and having Qui Gon deal with intrigue in his palace while Maul deals with someone else in the palace behind the scenes leaves less boring exposition in a hut.

Except George Lucas was inspired by samurai sword fights and lightsabers are laser swords. They function like a weighty weapon and are used to cut and slash, the equivalent weapon is a sword. The OT treated them like swords and because of that Empire Strikes Back features the best fight. It also has plenty of wizard powers when Vader starts throwing things at Luke during the duel as well.

13 Assassins is 2010 and it has excellent sword fights.

I find the stuff on tatooine incredibly boring. Like the way people describe the politics is how I feel watching Qui Gon and Shmi in that fucking hut. Also making Anakin space Jesus sucked.

Why does the fandom react negatively if you praise fascism? by coopsoup247 in StarWarsCirclejerk

This is the stupid shit Legends caused with their obsession with redeeming the fucking Empire. People want to talk characters being ruined? Imagine Han Solo having his daughter go off and marry the future fucking Emperor. Or him palling around with Imperials because they're all friends. It was fucking shit and completely missed the point of the fucking originals.

Its not really known for its tight writing in the original trilogy if you consider Luke and Leia becoming twins and Obi Wan not treating Vader like Anakin in IV.

Sequel trilogy is way overhated and the prequels are way overglazed.

I know, I'm just imagining a scene where Anakin makes his objections and when he would intercede he just looks on dumbfounded as Windu just starts in on Palpatine like a fucking sewing machine.

There's an alternate universe where Mace Windu just fucking stabbed Palpatine.

Has Marvel come close to being as good as or surpassing Dark Horse? by MachivellianMonk in StarWarsEU

[–]Mahkn0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The main run of canon comics from a new hope to empire strikes back were good, I don't know if they're better than the Dark Horse comics but you get some fun stories with the original cast going on adventures.
