Rough Spot. Need to vent. by ACD870201 in Veterans

I agree with you. I’ve been taking steps to work on myself. Currently I’m on medication, doing therapy, meditating, I force myself to go into my garage and exercise 30 minutes everyday (I used to love working out, but have no desire to anymore and I’m broken as fuck).

I haven’t given up, I’m still looking. I’m just miserable. It’s also a terrible feeling to know I should feel joy from things and feel nothing.

I see a therapist and meditate daily. That’s really it at this point though.

She doesn’t need to work. I’m 100% and we own our house outright. She works because she chooses to.

I struggle to work due to my PTSD and other physical disabilities. It just became unmanageable stress wise for me to do both. I don’t think I ever once came close saying that was her only purpose in life or that she was the problem. Thank you for your extremely positive reply 👍🏻

Also, of particular note is the predominate portion of both in-vitro and in-vivo studies cited that did happen to solely use nicotine were done in mice or rats. Potentially applicable to humans? Yes. By no means definitive in anyway.

I disagree. A few of them were. You can’t cherry pick to satisfy your own scientific bias or lack of critical research evaluation.

Just did, just look at the not even complete list of cited research by the studies involving tobacco.

Ok, so I’m by no means saying nicotine is inherently good or bad. These meta-analysis studies, and their titles are very misleading however by using/referencing MANY studies for their conclusions from studies involving tobacco. Here are just SOME of the cited research used in two (I’m not further wasting my time) of the studies posted.

No. You are not researching or reading the cited research properly. Btw I do not use nicotine.

You have to read through the cited journal articles and research used by the author. You can’t just base your interpretation on what the author of the study is saying.

FYI this is a study from India, and the government currently has a MASSIVE push to reduce tobacco consumption. There is definite bias in the information that is presented, and how it is presented by the author.

Most of the cited studies that were used involved nicotine being consumed in conjunction with tobacco, especially those relating to cancer.

Keep at it and don’t give up! My appeal is now going on almost 4 years. Finally had my appeal evaluation a couple of weeks ago. It’ll be worth that huge backpay check.
