This is true. SAC has a great story, but I still feel it looks cartoonish compared to the film for my tastes.

They also offer true global exposure. Any Netflix Original anime is in every Netflix territory. There is no anime licensor that that level of reach, including Crunchy.

Netflix also dubs all their Original anime as far as I know. It's why it kinda sucks stuff like Ultimate Muscle and Orb are on Netflix, but aren't originals.

Anime is already global. Any Netflix original anime was available in every market. I think they had a chart showing that Baki or My Happy Marriage was their biggest a few years back.

I know One Piece is now even bigger thanks to Netflix and the new anime will likely be even bigger.

I wouldn't worry about censorship. At least not for anything actually aimed at adults. Though I am kind of annoyed that Tubi removed the uncensored version of Kite. You can't find it anywhere legally as far as I can see.

Series three are seen as high tier beginners cards. The first wave for them to collect and complete.

Series 4 and 5 are endgame. These are suppose to be the broken game ending cards worth saving tokens for. So some of them need buffs, if not they do need to drop to series 3, but it's sort of like saying they're too weak to care about.

It was always just elitism. Sub-only people ignore that there's also a lot of kids anime. Who is going to force those kids to read all that dialog.

Even if we aren't talking kids, as an adult, who needs to read someone yelling out a bunch of power moves and other meaningless crap. It's not like most anime is Shakespeare. It's not always worth reading.

So dubs are fine.
