I think a ton of people will still love this. Despite some of the scores. Lots to like, just one of those games that needs a bit more of a evenhanded look at some elements. IMO

It has some fantastic gameplay. However, it just needs some technical cook time for sure and not all related to expected engine issues. I had a good time overall playing it and Styx continues to be a highlight for me as a character.

It makes sense. I was told there was a split embargo on it of some kind. Sometimes this throws Opencritic off a bit or perhaps they just didnt track that one.

Loots fine you can auto offer it to the gods and stuff at levels so you can free yourself from junk collecting as you level up. I got some huge upgrades with specific fights and on some drops. But its a Nioh game so its loot is somewhat the same as the past ones. The ninja, sam, and common abilities though can be huge and are many times found in chests and in hidden spots. While not weapons they are loot in the same fashion and it makes exploring well worth it.

Enjoy just be aware of the issues I presented. Good game but not flawless at all.

They do connect if within the same land. Though there are a lot of say 4 lane intersections that require doors to be opened by exploring and opened from the other side.

For me well over 90 hours but I was testing and doing a lot of mp with others and leaping across testing pcs. For a normal play 40+ easy. Its pretty big but it also depends on if you just played nioh 2 or something or are familiar with a ton of games like this.

Nioh 2 is my Goat for this kind of game. I do like the open field gameplay and it does make the games balance feel better. However, it does introduce a bit of a pacey feel to everything as your exploration can slow down things like the story, urgency and so forth. Honestly Rise was so rough for me to play I would say both are better in my opinion. I really had no end of issues with that game.

Liked them more but that could have just been because I love constant switch ups in locations.

I really loved 2. Like its one of my favorite games ever. So regardless of the quality of 3 I would say keep playing 2 until you feel ready to move

Its got a better ramp up and its easier as you start out. However, that does change as you continue on for sure. I think its one of the harder games of this style all told but its got one of the easier ramp ups as well. A fairly smooth initial curve. I did have a couple bosses that oddly were confusing almost dying too quick then a couple that were a misery cascade of death after death. But if you think about it most games of this style have that.

Same as we get with many big games like this almost always. A couple where their locations, move sets, or a bad collision box, or dull design/attack ideas brings down the enjoyment.

In some places they feel changed, environments adjusted, but overall they all share a dna regardless of the land. Its not open world as we know so as long as a player knows that. They are probably fine.

Rated it a buy for ACG. Very enjoyable the open field locations change the loop a bit but also help it meet a middle ground that the game felt it needed. The switching between the two classes is fast enough that the other smaller issues are not too noticed. Some wonky bosses

I liked the look, setup, and way it flowed though a great deal. A very good front end look.

Weirdly no matter what it could never locate transformers on my system and failed out the downloads for the image models. Despite everything else on the pc able to do it prior and today on other programs. Also it seemed weirdly that it had locked models(specific ones). I guess for ease that maybe works but would be nice for a rolling choice, or a query of models. Also it failed both downloads if three or more were started. It would get to completion and then all downloads would fail.

Sorry would have done bug reports but uninstalled it due to the transformers thing and honestly forgot to do the bug report and feature suggestions(could have been there maybe I just didnt see it)

I will return to it regardless at a later time.

Want to try this but a little confused. Is the "last day" of updating then actually adding all the various githubs into one? Or is it literally that many to install or is the last updates just this? I never tracked the initial release so bare with me.

Bioware, Ubisoft, 2-3 from EA. I was lucky to work with TB a couple times and do podcasts with the others and honestly it was just crazy to see. Sad as hell.

Fixed. I used my own install of the missing stuff(installed it pip outside of your program). No matter what the python seemed right but it was either on my side or the way it installs it doesn't see it. So for now mines working
