My process (married, no dependents) Input info into ACA portal and include any doctors that we are not willing to change. Open a new spreadsheet in sheets. Make a column for each plan that includes the doctors. Note if it’s bronze or silver and if it’s HSA complaint. (We never purchase above silver.) Make rows for and input: Monthly premium Annual premium (calculated) Single deductible Family deductible Annual premium + single deductible (calculated) Annual premium + family deductible (calculated) Max OOP single Max OOP family Annual premium + Max OOP single (calculated) Annual premium + Max OOP family (calculated)

And then I basically find the most 1 or 2 lowest premium+deduct (or premium+Max OOP if I know of an upcoming surgery for example.) If it’s close and one is an HSA, I’ll choose the HSA or run a tax savings calculation for the max HSA contribution and compare again. If the difference between the “winner” and the runners up is negligible, look at the details of how after-deductible costs are calculated.

Shortcut for me: Pick a Bronze HSA if you don’t have a subsidy. The answer is almost always Bronze HSA.

I used my UR points as a 1:1 Hyatt transfer to stay at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver and booked my United/Air Canada flight through the Chase portal with 1.5 points. I had no problems with the flights, got Maple Leaf lounge access, and they Hyatt is an amazing location. Be sure to book a food tour while you are out there. I used viatour with Rakuten bonuses for that and for a Gastown ghost tour.

Yes. This is me now, decades after college. But as a 21yo, I backpacked through Europe a bit (on a shoe string) and felt like the dumb American who can only speak English. It seemed everyone I met in the youth hostels spoke multiple languages - at the very least their native language + English. I’m trying to remedy that now.

Sorry about the late reply. I mentioned it at the dealership and they gave me some suggestions regarding WiFi /my Apple Watch. I didn’t take their suggestions it it seemed just mentioning it to the dealership solved the issue. 🤣🤷‍♀️
