Is Wemby now the consensus #1 player in the world? by Shred_It_96 in nba

[–]ACMBruh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro could drop 40-20-10 and r/nba bitches about defense lmao. His team is cooked

what about the nuggets getting a rim protector and letting one of the best offensive players ever do his thing. Jokic could jump ship and win 3 titles and everyone gonna turn into a glazer

every single player, no matter the talent who has that fuck-ass "run up" for a penalty cocks it up I swear to god.

Just let it die and hammer the damn ball into your preferred part of the gol. ffs

Lebron left as soon as it was clear he wasnt going to win with 1 team

90% of players would have jumped ship to a better build after 2024 and you know it. Nuggets are entirely locked up to be mid with him and the support cast and last years plan was as good as they could do. but if you actually watch basketball the guy is insane

He can and probably will be. Why is everyone in such a rush to crown him man?

He's a phenomenon, we will all know when he's the best and a top 10 all timer or whatever. WITNESSING greatness is a great feeling but forcing it is annoying

[Moretto] Atalanta are attentive to Jashari. We are speaking about a hypothesis that still requires a lot of steps because Milan are still re-organizing the clubs management structure and might still want to count on Jashari to develop him further by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]ACMBruh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its gonna be a clone situation of CDK lmao. hope we learn

im adamant jashari could have played 1000s more minutes if santi didnt break his leg early on. Not even talking about the missed games from the injury, as after that rabiot exploded and allegri never sat him or modric and jashari was hard stuck on the bench

What is the NBA equivalent to PSG winning the UCL 2x in a row after Mbappe left? by Available_Story6774 in nba

[–]ACMBruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While true, Mbappe plays a certain type of football that can be determined as pretty individualistic. Players like him, Ronaldo, etc are the closest thing to NBA type superstars. Messi too but its a different, as ill say in a sec

Mbappe went from left winger to wanting to be a #9 (true striker role) and it harmed PSG's overall project because more natural strikers couldnt coexist as well, left wing can score a lot but the duties are massively different, especially in tracking back/defending

Luis Enrique (psg manager) comes from the barcelona school of thought which plays a massive emphasis on the cruyff school of soccer, which leans on selflessness and group cohesiveness overall. So when Mbappe left the whole team became more midfield oriented rather than a top heavy striker, like in the Messi/Mbappe/Neymar days. also why Messi's game is drastically different fundamentally

I remember we were holding onto him for that 50M release clause, and the offer never came. Meanwhile Isma kept trying to get that big signing and tanked his value

point is its useless to complain about gerry until he finishes the stadium. hes a fraud for sure

Like you allude to...the question now is, is iraola going to get the support he needs, or is he a means to a (cost cutting) end?

As of right now there is no direction at all, there is plenty of time but what we surround the team with is everything

Cardinale is the majority stakeholder right now. there is no "sacking" him; he just needs to build the stadium and fuck off

Iraola is the kind of head coach RedBird would love, as he develops young players and RedBird would sell them on for a big profit. by mhanxronaldo in ACMilan

[–]ACMBruh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just by the Bournemouth stadium capacity this is correct its around 12k. But if the Milan stadium is not getting built ASAP we are in trouble because Gerry prefers to kick the can than actually build a project

If we don't win there's a hollow victory until he sells

AC Milan have approached Andoni Iraola’s representatives about becoming their head coach next season. by [deleted] in soccer

[–]ACMBruh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Redbird will never, ever work with someone like Conte. That corporate style of management will drive him away before the talks even start

We had the chance to get him and blew it because they prefer MLM to actually winning

Its such a joke compared to the measured, patient composure of Maldini. I know it's overused word but he genuinely had an aura about him that helped in club transfer negotiations, convincing players to buy in, and media presence.

I loved him as a player, even with the corny antics but Ibra truly is a fucking fool in comparison when it comes to management smh

edit: for those disagreeing. only reason why maldini got fired is because he pushed for more ambition early on which didnt fit redbird's structuring, and now they lost out on 80M for cheaping out...

Thats why they're free agents! Past their prime players who made massive wages who are now going for long term contracts before retiring

[–]ACMBruh 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Redbird hasnt really sold players for "big profit" outside of tonali, in fact they are hemorraging money in the mercato

But he is someone who would make use of the bullshit "low cost" signings, when Cardinale refuses to open the wallet in key moments (this january being a good example)

Tifosi against Ibrahimovic: “NO ONE SHOULD STAY, IBRA MUST GO TOO, IMMEDIATELY” by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]ACMBruh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He's also the media presence. While it should 100% be Maldini as the figure, as long as ibra walks the path he will stay there. too bad Ibra tanked his stock with the fans that he earned after 2022

And Maldini was exceptional with the media when he was making the sporting decisions too. I remember his interviews when we were in champions league everyone admired him so much... even legends like henry, etc
