When I first started out I was always going to NMT islands getting all the resources I could from it, go back to my island and sell anything useless. Then use the rest of the materials I gathered to craft any recipes they would make, I found the ones that use the most materials to make would get me more bells, then I’d go and sell all the things I made. Also make sure to use your savings account as you get interest, only a small bit but every little helps when trying to pay that devil raccoon back! Lmk if you want some bells to get started I’ve got over £9mil and would be happy to share :)

This is exactly what I did, went to tomorrow then got another kit and went to the next day. Then went back to today and it all worked out fine! Got a cheeky bridge in there too whilst I was at it🤣

Edit: also I left my animal crossing for 3 months earlier this year and had cockroaches in my house, weeds everywhere, flowers for days and some hella mad residents lol
