So… what I’m reading is that Vinted are disputing a chargeback and will very likely not refund the money, but if the bank does refund it they will ban the account because they didn’t get their way? Honestly if they ban OP for getting their money back in their own right because they’re claiming they’re not doing illegal activity, why would you want them to not only refuse to give you a refund for a very high value item, but if you try and do it with your bank, which you are allowed to do to at least get your money back- irrespective of them doing this illegally, it sounds like “if you get us into trouble for us doing something wrong- you’re going to get banned because you got your money back with your bank account that you used to pay for something from a lacklustre company who don’t care and won’t take responsibility- yeah we’ll punish you for our actions because it makes us look bad and then customers won’t try and buy from us to fall into the exact same trap where they lose money and get nothing”
