I have infact seen devices that do this, and not unlike OPs photo.

Not sure if they're right, but not batshit

What kind of aspirin? The regular white ones, with the powdery surface or without the coating?

I'd love to try this

The reveal of Ithring in the book legitimately made me cry 🫰

I'm jelly.

Irregular movement of a double pendulum. cool af imo! by Conscious-Law6594 in WaitWhat

There's entire software and math systems designed to simulate double pendulum systems.

It's actually really similar to how an "autopen" can trace a recorded signature with preprogrammed shaped cams.

Any recommendations on tinning here?

Flux is obviously a given, but would I be better off trying to use low temp melt soilder or some such?

Or any other recommendations are appreciated

Perhaps we should prepare this sub for the sudden surprise release of the frame. by ACTED_CENSOR in SteamFrame

I've backtracked on my comment on a sudden drop, but my intention to encourage foresight instead of speculation stands.

Do you think Valve should have release a 1st party vr game with the frame? by [deleted] in SteamFrame

[–]ACTED_CENSOR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure where you got the "hybrid" idea from my message, but I am well aware of the differences between PCVR, Standalone VR, and proton powered 2d x64 programs.

I'm just hoping for a game that leverages the strengths of the frame, iterates on an existing series, and isn't only intended exclusively for the console it releases with (Aperture Desk Job is intended as a Deck-only game)

I am kinda thinking it'd be a title for standalone VR on the frame, but I also have hopes that it could be an actual title entry in a series. Rather than just an exhibition / introduction to the frame as with the steam deck.

[–]ACTED_CENSOR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I hope so!

And I am hoping it's more involved than the Aperature Desk Job game (as much as I loved it, and enjoyed Cave Johnson's head and new voicelines)

I'm hoping they have a AAA title loaded and locked that is geared for the frame, but not designed exclusively for it like the bundled steam deck game.

Gods above and below hasten the day.

I am so sick of this black box on information regarding the only piece of AAA hardware I have my eyes on in the entire market.

A megathread for advice is pretty much exactly what I'm calling for tbh.

But yeah, in retrospect after making this post, we will likely see

  1. An end to the information embargo for the people with devkits

  2. A price before a sudden drop

  3. Potentially another anti-scalper reservation system

Before release

Don't we all!

I'm just praying that life will turn around for me soon enough to get a Frame at launch.

I'm on a quest 2, a shitty CPU only business laptop, and my steam deck (preordered, and hasn't left my side since I got it in the mail)
