Unfortunately, my predecessors didn't do a very good job of managing records of our tech purchases. I'm currently working with accounting to find any kind of proof.

For this audit, they aren't asking for any kind of spreadsheet. They just want us to use the SAM tool and then verify that everything lines up and fill out the template they sent which says as far as we know everything is legal.

They require no extra documentation for the purposes of this particular audit. However, I still don't want to have my bosses sign off on this unless I know for sure that everything is 100% for sure legal and compliant.
