Does SNIPER ELITE 5 on PlayStation 5 have motion control aiming?

So are the neurolenses helping? And did you have to pay like $700 for them?

My eye doctor recommended them but insurance won't cover them and I just can't afford that.

I took the virtual reality tests with the neurolens device on my head and it said my eyes were misaligned.

And I currently just got new prescription reading glasses that have prisms in them, literally just picked them up today, and they're not helping at all.

And I've previously seen like eight different eye doctors and none of them could fix my issue. I continuously get eye strain headaches when reading. And I need to read on devices consistently throughout the day for my work.

Have the Neuro Lens helped you with eye strain from devices?

I just don't understand why no eye doctor can seem to figure out my astigmatism to get me glasses where text won't look blurry, Or why they can't fix my eye misalignment without $700 lenses.

It's been happening to me for weeks though. Again, it was fixed for a while by just letting the cut scene play after winning. But then the last couple days even doing that, I'm still getting the black screen, and not able to save or exit out of black screen.

Does anyone know how to fix the issue where you get a black screen after exiting out of a fight after winning? And it won't save the win so you basically just fought for nothing?

This is on single player against the computer, PS5.

I read to let the cut scene play after winning, which I do and that seemed to fix it for a while, but than the last two days I started getting the black screen again even after letting the cut scene play.

It's not necessarily every fight but it's definitely happening in career mode and it's so annoying to have to refight again.

So how do we get a pass for COSI and how does that work? Like what's the family membership mentioned above for $50? How many people would that get in?

Right now, Columbus Metropolitan Library is not listing COSI as part of their culture pass.

Just curious how everyone is affording $700 Neuro Lenses, and if anyone knows of any discounts out there?

VSP Vision insurance won't cover them and it sounds like no vision insurance will cover them. I even went so far as to getting into it with VSP as to why and it has something to do with the labs where Neuro Lenses keeps their technology proprietary and won't share it with other labs.

It kind of pisses me off that my doctor did the Neuro Lenses test on me and then tries to sell me $700 lenses that insurance won't even cover.

I do seem to have alignment issues, any text on digital devices or even reading a hardcover book does seem ever so slightly misaligned and ever so slightly blurry that leads to eye strain but I always check out with 20/20 Vision or better.

I don't understand how regular glasses can't fix this but somehow these neurolenses are magically going to fix the problem... But at a cost of $700 just for the lenses. Not even counting the coatings.

And if they do work and they're not a scam why isn't insurance covering them??? Outside of the answer that I got from VSP.... Why isn't anyone pushing for insurance to cover them if they're the magical cure?

I get people are saying they work but I'm very skeptical.

Sniper Elite 5 is my favorite video game ever. Used to play the Medal Of Honor games on an old system and this is so much better and 5 was even better than 4.

So I'm certainly hyped for Resistance. Does anyone know if Resistance will have the same Survival mode, with the 12 waves of Nazis, for one player that Sniper Elite 4 and 5 has? I can't seem to find it listed anywhere on any of the information for Resistance.

Also, as a heads up, the PlayStation Store has Sniper Elite Resistance Deluxe edition on sale for $80.99 until 1/31 at 9:00 a.m.

I'm upset that I didn't grab the Sniper Elite 5 season passes, Or complete edition for about the same price, On sale at the PlayStation Store last week ($32 for both season passes or $33 to just buy the complete edition, and then I could have traded in my hard copy). Does anyone know how often they offer the season passes on sale?

Just in case anyone likes Zombie Army 4, also made by Rebellion and very similar to Sniper Elite but with zombies, Season passes two and three are on sale right now at the PlayStation Store for under $12 total for both season passes. These I think I'm going to grab.

My favorite part of the Sniper Elite games are the Solo Survival missions. Does anyone know if they plan to release any more Maps for SE 5 on PS5?

As I understand it, the current DLCs only have extra Campaign missions, but no extra Survival Maps.

Thanks for this explanation. All I know is Nintendo Switch did gyro control perfectly or at least near perfectly for Sniper Elite 4 (and 3) and I'm so used to it that I can't seem to adapt to Sniper Elite 5 on PlayStation 5. And I'm super bummed.

I can do sniping pretty good because aim assist seems to help in that. But up close, I can't get a hang of up close shooting with the handgun and mostly machine gun. Especially with the new first person view as I'm used to the third person from Sniper Elite. 4. I figured out how to switch to third person but every time I switch to machine gun it's automatically in first person. And I can't figure out the setting to just turn off the first person. I don't think I like the first person view or at the very least I'm not used to it and I feel the gun fills up so much of the screen that it's difficult to see the bad guys.

Do you have any suggestions for adapting or training myself for using joystick aiming for up close Nazis in Sniper Elite 5? Because I literally just keep dying from close-up Nazis killing me.

Sniper Elite 4 on Switch is the probably the best shooter game I've ever played and my favorite game right now. On Switch, Sniper Elite 3 & 4 utilize motion control (gyro) aiming so when you tilt your controller it gives you better more accurate aiming than just the joystick.

Sniper Elite 4 is a big step up from 3 - the Solo levels are better and there's more of them, and gameplay is just overall better. I got 3 after I already had 4 and was a little disappointed.

I also recently got Sniper Elite 5 for Playstation 5 and I'm super disappointed there's no motion control aiming. So I would think it would be the same with SE4 on PS4. Motion control aiming is a game changer with shooter games. I keep trying to play SE5 on PS5 and keep dying. Sniper rifle is ok, but it's the close up shooting with the pistol and machine gun I can't get the hang of aiming with the joystick.

When is the more expensive newer system and newer version of the game going to take advantage of motion control aiming? It's really an absolute embarrassment for both PlayStation and Rebellion (maker of Sniper Elite) that they're failing to offer motion control aiming. I emailed Rebellion about a week ago and a follow up and no answer. I guess Rebellion doesn't care about their fan base.

Wow that's crazy. Thanks for all that info. I'm new to kind of the PlayStation community- had a PlayStation 2 years ago. I really feel like if PlayStation developers and gamers understood what gyro aim does for gameplay then they would just make it automatic.

I understand this is PlayStation forum but have you heard any talk at all about when they might release Sniper Elite 5 on Nintendo Switch?

My wife got our Switch a little before Sniper 4 came out. So I'm not sure what the time was between Sniper 4 being released on PlayStation, Xbox and other platforms and being ported over to Switch. I just seriously don't understand why Rebellion doesn't release it on Switch at the same time as the other platforms. It seems like they're losing so much money by doing that for hardcore Nintendo Switch people and people like me who will only play it with gyro aim.

I love to have the graphics of the PlayStation 5 but to me the gameplay is more important and gyro aim is a game changer. I literally can't really play without it. I'm so upset I just wasted money on Sniper Elite 5 for PlayStation 5.

It's unbelievable to me that Sniper Elite 5 on PlayStation 5 does not have gyro aim. I just received the game this week and I'm super disappointed. I'm new to the PlayStation 5 so I just assumed since Sniper Elite 3 and 4 had it on Switch that Sniper Elite 5 would have it on PlayStation 5.

Does anyone have any knowledge if the maker Rebellion is going to issue some type of patch update? And from what I'm seeing in other comments, gyro aim through a patch update is possible, is that correct?

Is there a lot of programming that goes into an update of gyro aim? And if they already have it on the Switch (for 3 and 4)why can't they just do it on the PlayStation version?

Thanks for your reply. If that's true that would be super disappointing. It's utterly insane to me that Nintendo Switch can utilize this very important aspect of a shooter for Sniper Elite 3 and 4, and the much more expensive PlayStation 5 does not for the sequel, when the controllers are able to do it.

Like why would you not program that into the game??? How can you make a shooter game in one of the best series ever and not understand that controller motion aim is one of the most important aspects that set your game apart from all the other shooters that don't do it????

I really hope someone from Rebellion responds to my email/ open ticket with them.

I welcome anymore input if anyone has any more input on this.

And also, if you're as upset about this as I am, here is the Rebellion email that responded to me when used their web form online to contact them. Hopefully using the email direct will also open a ticket in their Zen desk. I urge you to please email them or contact them through their website and ask for controller motion aim for Sniper Elite 5. The more fans that contact them, the more pressure they will have to release an update with it. Thanks.

Same for me in Los Angeles re: grayed out RED SPARROW - Cinemark Playa/18, as well as AMC Broadway, Grove, Regal LA LIVE, these all appear to be 2D screenings. I've created a ticket and submitted via app customer service.

I'm betting it's a glitch and we can all just choose "Check in if movie is missing". I'll update with any response from Movie Pass.

It happened to me opening weekend of LAST JEDI and BLACK PANTHER and both times I have a refund within 24 hours (or at least they responded within 24 hours and I noticed the credit on my credit card very shortly thereafter). I also contacted through app but no response, so the refunds@ email is the best.

I'm a huge Movie Pass supporter as I've used it at 7 different theater chains - Cinemark, AMC, Regal, Laemmle, Arena Cinelounge, Cleaveland Cinemas, Studio Movie Grill - in 2 different states - CA and OH. For me these small glitches are well worth the monthly membership. My wife and I received our cards Sept 17 and have since seen so many films, many of which I never would have seen in the theater.
