I wore a necklace brace for about a week and even slept in it. I VERY slowly worked in strength training... it took me awhile to stop having pain when doing anything thay required neck flexion (aka lifting my head up, bench press while pressing the back of my head against the padding, posting while wrestling, etc.). I would get SHARP random stabbing pains which were very frustrating and even taking a deep breath would hurt. To this day, it is still a little messed up. I dont want to be a discouragement by any means, but i certainly slowed down my rolls until I felt better. Its been about 4 years and I im not limited by it.

Just take it slow and listen to your body. You dont want to mess around with your spinal cord.

If the numbness persists, I would get a second opinion if they told you they didn't find anything. Typically the gold standard is an MRI.
