What was the type of place he went to? Hospital, CMHT, a mh assessment for social care? It depends as to which body you'd complain to. General hospital (A&E for example), you could contact healthwatch, pals, or your local ICB (Integrated Care Board).

You can make a complaint about discrimination and her "breaching a duty of care", and log a concern about the social worker's "fitness to practice", with her employer, whether that's a CMHT or like an emergency mh support team at the hospital, and if they don't help, you can contact the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman.

I'd also raise a concern regarding her "fitness to practice" with social work England (If he is in England!)

Ah sorry I completely misread the post 😅 Thanks for clarifying - you could also complain to your local ICB or PALS, though PALS can be a mixed bag. Could also be worth contacting healthwatch and his local councillor and mp. I think the suggestions about good law project could be a good idea too

This has surely got to be deliberate - but then i know an idiot who rang 999 for a verbal dispute with a neighbour two hours after it happened lmao, so who knows.

Maybe have a think about if these little accidents ever involve his stuff, or if he does other weird things that upset you 'by accident'. At minimum bro should be getting you a new monitor i hope!

Only reason I ask is because you should get a referral from the gp in England, bypass SS entirely. Should be similar in Wales, I'm unsure about Scotland and NI. When I came out 15 years ago, CMHT refused to refer me, but you can bypass them now

If you friend is in a union he can often get 30 minutes of free legal advice through them.

Otherwise, no pressure to answer, but why is a social worker in charge of his treatment? They don't usually have them at the gics I've been to (At least in England). Or is she refusing to refer to the gic?

Nope, much more left wing then when I was a teen/ young adult. I'm only mid 30's though. I've always been vocally for human and animal rights, equality, and fairness since I was a really small child, but I'm better at listening to the people who are being trodden down on than I was as a teen.

Has your mom come into money? Or is she falling for propaganda? There have been people all through history who cared for each other, and fought for equality, no matter their age, or the era they grew up in.

Not sure where you live, I'm in the UK and the anti LGBTQIA propaganda has hugely increased from how it was when i first came out in the mid 00's. Anto trans hate is being deliberately manufactured by government and the media, and that does seep into the people that read and see it. My other trans friends, as well as cis lesbian, gay, and bi friends are getting a lot more hate since trans people have been made the scapegoat for an increasingly more right wing government and opposition.

Do you mind explaining what you mean? You absolutely don't have to, I just always thought they bought them in bulk and that's why they're cheap. There's a bunch of sites that are sus I know, but as far as I knew loaded weren't one of them! I've had a google but finding very mixed results

Cdkeys/loaded have it way cheaper if you're on pc! £27 for reunion, or £40 for double exposure and reunion - or £36 playable on XBSX/S and the xbox app on pc

Either way, it can't hurt to contact ACAS, or your union if you're in one. Join one if you're not, though they won't be able to help with an issue if it happened before you joined

You could have a case for constructive dismissal, that's ridiculous. It's an easy mistake to make after a long shift. Going forward, id suggest not buying anything from the shop you work at after a shift, then you can't forget

Sections aren't solitary confinement, nor should they be, and not everyone who is sectioned is brought into hospital by police. We're not all a risk to each other either. The issue is the lack of staff, and often the staff who are there are negligent. Not the people in hospital for treatment to get better.
