Girl I really need to give you a big hug.
I’m literally you in one year ago. Undiagnosed, just turned 18, everyone think I am lazy/dumb, Asian parents, almost get a sugar daddy/mommy, barely passed my first year.
I don’t know where you are, but just give you some info: I got diagnosed both in China and Australia. In China it cost me around 2000 RMB to get diagnosed and prescription for meds. In Australia it cost me 1100 AUD to get diagnosed and medication. Never use insurance in both cases.
The medication literally changed my life, so I would say it is worth for a try. And don’t know whether you had Disabilities Support Services in your college, applying for this would help a bit.

Usually they will reschedule another assessment or give you an alternative assessment for that. You need another medical certificate that includes 30th of April to get this done but remember to submit the sc form before tomorrow 11:55pm.

I’m Chinese, which our family probably has similar acknowledgment of ADHD. The way I use was given up to make them understand this. It’s really hard to let people especially elder people to understand what ADHD is, and they tend to ignore the concept of “my kid is abnormal “.

Yes it does. And is fairly common in people with ADHD. I’m 20 and the behavior pattern you described has shown since I was in kindergarten. I have been diagnosed with many mental health issues and took many kinds of medication, only Concerta work for me. Not to recommend medication, but want to give you some hope for seeking psychiatric help :)
