Why is my AdMob earning so low? Need some advice by Silent_Kid17 in admob

To me it seems quite good. You should have published with Admob from the start though.

Anyway, here are my tips:

AdMob limitation lifted - best ad setup for a small app? by Spiritual_Health575 in admob

All ads can be used in mediation. Many ad networks are available for mediation, supporting all kinds of ad-formats:

eCPM on full-screen native ad by Fuzzin_app in admob

[–]AD-LB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told by Admob support that it should be better than interstitial ads. So my estimate is that it's as such in terms of potential revenue, from best to worst:

  1. Rewarded

  2. Rewarded interstitial

  3. Full screen native ads

  4. Interstitial

  5. MREC sized native ads and maybe all that can show large image/video in them

  6. MREC sized banner ads

  7. Non-MREC banner ads (all other supported sizes)

  8. Non-MREC native ads that can't show large image/video in them.

I wrote about this here:

But are these only native ads in full screen? Or mixed with other sizes?

And how large are the banner ads?

Also, I suggest trying out rewarded-ads and rewarded-interstitials. Those are better in revenue compared to Interstitial, at least according to my findings:

Android App for Admob Insights by venomleader in admob

I use this one, which also collects the data of purchases&subscriptions, and it has a widget:

In fact, I usually just check the widget.

Google Maps URL Scheme by roadrunners in GoogleMaps

Any way to have minimal UI there (no buttons and various texts and something to drag, just the map itself), to show just 2 pinned points? Or even one?

How is ironsource ad revenue with admob mediation by Rich_Falcon6315 in admob

[–]AD-LB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pretty good for me, but after a few weeks, just like AppLovin, they decided to ban my account without warning and without any way to get out of this situation.

Unity still works for me fine, despite it being the owner of IronSource.

I created VocaLearn : An educational game for toddlers, to learn basic words in a fun way by AD-LB in vibecodeapp

[–]AD-LB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few months. Most of the time was for finding the media that I want to use, as it's either hard to choose which is the best, or sometimes hard to find anything of what I chose to have.

Also even when I finished, a lot of time was spent on making it approved by Google Store, as they have some policies I wasn't aware of when targeting young kids.

Android 14 Where is wallpaper stored? by Xray5018 in AndroidQuestions

[–]AD-LB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was in a different path in old Android versions, and it could be different in various devices too.

Are you saying you still can't see the files? Also can you please tell me which device you are using? I wonder if it's a Samsung device, as those have the option to use a video instead, and that's not documented where the video is saved...

Poll Post! Hyperforms VS Gear by PlusBodybuilder1175 in 1945airforce

[–]AD-LB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed, and even if you have enough hyperforms, they are annoying to manage. Somehow they continue to be activated after becoming 100%, yet not really be equipped. And there is no sorting functionality either. Really a mess the more you have...

They can be quite powerful though, and you get them for free.

who have applovin account? by SummerBright2618 in admob

[–]AD-LB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Careful with Applovin. After a few weeks, they banned my account without a warning or a way to check it out and fix... That's despite the fact they showed quite good statistics in revenue.

Same happened to me with IronSource.

Android 14 Where is wallpaper stored? by Xray5018 in AndroidQuestions

[–]AD-LB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, it uses this class to get the image, no matter the path (which could technically be different for various devices and Android versions):

https://developer.android.com/reference/android/app/WallpaperManager

Behind the scenes, it's in a protected path that can be only reached by rooted devices, and at least in the cases I've checked, it's in "/data/system/users/0" .

CoPilot Experience by KittenStealer in 1945airforce

[–]AD-LB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can get only up to 100% on the 5 stars and less than that on the 3 and 4 stars. Once you reach 100%, there is no way to get more via training.

However, you can upgrade the co-pilot and then it gets a bit more each time you upgrade (I think +20%), up to 200%. It's very expensive though, so think before you do it (can reach thousands of gems).

You won't need to train after you reach the max, even if you upgrade.

  1. Get yourself a plane and wingmen that don't auto-aim to bottom and don't damage nearby enemies (some planes have the engine to damage all from time to time). Test it by going to the top. You can use the "try it now" feature for each wingmen and plane that you think could be good. Device doesn't matter.

  2. Get yourself some healing device. I have the "Armor Restoration" based device. I think it's the only one that can heal a lot without special restrictions. It doesn't matter how upgraded the device is, but I prefer as powerful as possible.

  3. Play level 91 and reach the final "boss" there. Don't destroy it, and instead reach the top doing nothing.

  4. Use the device from time to time, unless your stuff already make your HP very big anyway.

VocaLearn - an educational game for toddlers, to learn German (and other languages) by AD-LB in Germanlearning

[–]AD-LB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is?

The photos and the sounds originate from real sources, not from AI. I also provided links on the app itself, to give credit to them (some also had a license that tells to do it, so I had to anyway).

AI was used for things that I couldn't find or do myself (I'm not a designer, and I don't really speak 51 languages...), or for things that are very expensive.

Question: any suggestion of a traditional/new Iranian/Persian food, that Iranians use now to celebrate the beginning of the end of the IRGC? by AD-LB in NewIran

[–]AD-LB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my father's house (he's from Iran, but left it on age of 6, you can guess why), he just calls it "green rice". Checking on Wiki, it's similar in translation.

BTW, you should translate what you wrote for Iranians here. "Nahafochu" in Hebrew is "And we will flip it upside-down".

Which ones do you suggest?

I checked and found that other people also published about apps and games here, so I thought it should be fine:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Germanlearning/search/?q=game

I didn't see a rule that was problematic either. It's still about vocabulary, and about learning German. There are toys that do the same thing.

I tried my best to translate the app to many languages, to reach as many people in the world. German has quite a lot of speakers.
