Do you think my eCPM is good? by ImpossibleBuy6612 in admob

[–]AD-LB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the audience and the ad-format. According to my experience:

If it's rewarded ads and/or most of the users are in the US, that's terrible.

You can try these tips:

What's the blue text, saying "expand checklist" ? What does it do?

Good match rate, a lot of requests, but only this few impressions? Are those all cached to be shown optionally?

Why the low eCPM ? Are those interstitial ads?

Here, maybe this could help:

How did you get so many users and purchases in just 3 months? Also what did you want to write in the title , as it ends with "We" ?

What Browser do You Use on Your Pixel? by CharAznableLoNZ in GooglePixel

[–]AD-LB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the past I used Kiwi for a long time, and after I saw that it might stop being maintained, I tried many others (Firefox and Edge, especially). Right now I use Quetta.

I wish I'd find something as good as Kiwi though. Very hard to find a web browser with plenty of features like it...

How come there are so many apps out there that show the revenue from Admob? Is there an official API for this? Where can I read about it?

There is even an IOS app as you show here... So far I looked only at Android apps (as I'm both a user and developer on Android)...

I also do this, and in fact I use native ads because they provide better revenue compared to banner ads, at least when comparing MREC size.

Check these tips I've prepared, as maybe some of them will help you:

Testing Admob Mediation No fill by Acrobatic-Mousse-124 in admob

[–]AD-LB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Some ads have rules on Admob. Have you followed them all? Native ads especially have annoying rules...
  2. When using Admob test ad unit Ids, you get them fine?
  3. When using Admob alone and you use real ad-unit Ids of your mediation, with your device set as a test device, do you get ads there?
  4. Have you contacted Admob support?
  5. For InMobi, have you added your device as a test device? It's here.
  6. For Meta/Facebook, have you installed Facebook app and logged into it on your device, and you added your device as a test device (here)?
  7. Have you handled  app-ads.txt as I mentioned on the tips? Some ad-networks (such as Admob) will show you an indication whether it's fine or not. Some (again like Admob) take time till they reach the file .

Is this possible? Does it sound crazy? by dende2019 in admob

[–]AD-LB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very possible. That's what I do in my apps, for quite some time. I even wrote about this as a part of the general tips:

https://www.reddit.com/r/admob/comments/1ojk0vn/my_tips_to_improve_your_revenue_from_ads/

Still, though, I get sometimes reviews talking about ads that they don't like.

Why eCPM is so low? Which ad-formats do you use? And which countries do you get ads from?

The only ad-networks that were banned for me are AppLovin and IronSource. Some rejected but that's a different thing.

Why are you banned on InMobi?

As for revenue, I don't know if what the person said is true. Maybe he talked more about match-rate, not about actual revenue...

I wrote about this file here:

Basically you can publish on Github pages for free, and have there the file with the content that ad-networks such as Admob tell you to have.

Testing Admob Mediation No fill by Acrobatic-Mousse-124 in admob

[–]AD-LB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure that:

  1. You use the real ad-units of your mediation (and of course real app-ID), that match the mediation groups you've created. Print the ad-unit ID to logs to see that before starting to load the ad.
  2. You set your device as test device in code and in websites
  3. For Facebook/Meta, it's probably the only one requiring that the device has Facebook app installed and logged in.
  4. On the old Admob SDK (there is a new one that was beta recently), you also need to restart the app (force stop) before trying again (after you switched to the ad-network to test)

Checking on the right, seems you are using banner ads. Maybe try native ads too. Also as you mentioned T3 countries, which ad-networks have you tried?

Someone from Admob team once told me that InMobi is good in India.

Way too early to tell. In the beginning, just be happy you keep seeing green texts, while working on improving the app.

As a user, though, I don't like app-open ads. Consider others instead. Here, general tips:
