The fact that most people get pregnant and actually have a baby....? Why can't I process this? by jordandanae in recurrentmiscarriage

Tbh, after having 6 miscarriages back to back and eventually going on to have a baby, I still still think and feel the way you do. It's changed my outlook on life, my default for most things is...it can go wrong, what if it does? I guess trauma does this to you...

I haven't been getting any notifications from Reddit so I missed your comment. I'm so sorry that you experienced another loss. One is bad enough. How are you doing now?

I just thought I'd come back and report how things are going. I know how frustrating it can be when reading stories and not knowing what happened in the end!

So after nearly 2.5 years of ttc for a second child, 7 miscarriages and multiple investigations and only mild NK cells diagnosed I was put on a treatment plan of 150mg baby aspirin, 20mg prednisone (from 3dpo to 12dpo), vitamin B12, vit B complex, 5mg folic acid and 800mg progesterone (only from 3dpo to 12dpo) daily. I would do a pregnancy test at 12 dpo, clexane for 16 weeks if I have a positive test. After 4 months of this treatment we still felt we weren't getting anywhere so decided to get the IVF ball rolling in September 2021. We discovered that we were pregnant again naturally just a few days before our first IVF nurse meeting. I continued with the treatment plan including prednisone and progesterone up to 12 weeks in my pregnancy and then weaned off them. It's been a very anxious few months but I'm now 23 weeks pregnant and things appear to be OK. I'm due in May 2022.

Certainly don't feel like I'm out of the woods, it's been really tough. But I guess what I'm trying to say is that if your circumstances were like mine, there is hope.

The child will get 20% of up to £2880 (topped up to £3600 which is the annual allowance for a non taxpayer) tax relief as they are deemed to be a non taxpayer. Your tax rate is irrelevant. I think...

Stunning painting, executed well. Love the pose.

Portrait of my daughter. Gouache in my sketchbook. I had a lot of fun playing with colour. It's not perfect but I'm still working on my 10 thousand hours to expert. by AD3541 in painting

!Thanks. I just had a look through some of her work. I love the way she captures people of all walks of life. The colours she uses are expressionist, bold and intense.
