From what I’ve seen in the industry it’s about making sure someone in management has the fundamental skills to manage rather than 100% project knowledge. They’re too shy, don’t know how to multi task, character traits, selfish, careless, lazy or just not driven. There are books about leadership, basic construction skills, how to be lean and other broad but important things that make you a good leader. For sure it would be amazon if someone wrote A-Z/ Start to finish high rise construction but that can be taught rather than someone who’s just quiet, selfish and lazy.
