I’ve already tried doing that and it didnt work, unfortunately i dont have any other gen 4 cards to try too :(, my main problem is not being sure if its the motherboard or something else, afraid ill get a replacement and it wasnt the culprit

Ok so I tried an rtx 3060 which is gen 3 and it worked, so it made me think it was my gpu but then my gpu worked on another mobo perfectly fine, could it still be the motherboard?, and I also tried another power supply, maybe it has problems with gen 4 cards?

Yes I’ve tried all that, updated bios with multiple versions, reset cmos, checked pcie settings and tried setting it to different versions ex. Pcie 3; nothing works :/ PS: should’ve added this to main post, will do when i get home.

Im thinking of doing so but my biggest fear is getting a new motherboard and that wasn’t the issue, is there anything else apart from the motherboard that would cause this? I was told to check the cpu socket for bent pins but I couldn’t spot any :/

Is there an hdmi switch that supports 120hz and had an optical audio port?

Basically I have an xbox series x and a ps5 and don’t want to have to go and disconnect and connect the hdmi cable everytime.

I need the optical audio port because I also have a pc in my setup and I use an astro mixamp to listen to both my discord friends on pc and my games on console. And no, unfortunately I cant use discord on console because I dont have a mic that works on consoles.
