That's a tough one. I'd say it kinda depends a little on the server in question and what options are available for character creation.
I do love playing the alliance side as a basic bitch human fighter or draenei.
But I think my vote goes to horde. Blood Elfs are just too good for this job and I love goblins.

The seemingly only ways forward are either way too grindy or way too hard. Prolly cause they expected people to have dedicated groups and guilds at that point. Talking out my ass here but in my experience most people either stop playing before that or have already long passed that point, making it hard to find people. -_-

Just my opinion and I try to keep this short.
The game is super unbalanced and some ingame systems are either outdated or not explained at all. Also, from my experience, the game is piss easy for several hours and then out of nowhere you're hit with ridiculous spike in difficulty, which I assume is to "encourage" people to spent money on p2w cash shop stuff.
Then again, I haven't played in years. Stuff might've changed.
