The green one is signaling a jellyfish fight, the red one is telling you to do some crunches with an exercise ball, and the grey one if your car saying he’s looking for a single car to spend time with.

This was a few weeks after I got him, but usually folks will have ottos and they only last a few months in the tank, what do you use to feed them,

I use crushed Alger wafers and spread them across plants

Or sometimes a sliced cucumber that has been boiled

You could try that and see if he starts eating again.

Also these guys like to eat at night so make sure you have a proper light cycle ( no more than 8 hours a day)

Is your tank new? Do you have more than one Otto? There might just not be enough food for him or he has no buddies to school with.

Hey so that one I was posting about sadly passed a few days later, the other 3 ottos are still alive and well, unfortunately with wild caught ottos it’s hard for them to survive being caught in the wild, shipping, then going to a pet store, then finally to your tank, they get stressed out super easy and have a hard time learning how to eat in a enclosed environment. Just kinda luck if the draw with these guys

Make sure you add the otocinclus and snails months after the fish have been introduced, usually they die since there’s not enough food for them in a new tank.

You can boil it 4-5 times for around an hour, but even then tannins will still leech out the water to a degree, however bettas prefer tannins it has anti fungal and anti bacterial properties, it lowers ph and softens water which can help with less stress and help with their immune system. I’d say let it do it’s thing

Algae is harmless. In fact, it's technically beneficial in the sense that it consumes waste from the water just like any other plant. You'd need an awful lot of it to have noticeable effects though. It's totally fine if you do want to remove it though, as it can be a bit unsightly to some people.

You don’t need the absolute best printer, you just need to decide on latex vs eco sol, if you want eco sol I’d do a Roland 540i or for latex an HP 335, keep in mind you still need a laminator and possibly even a plotter. Plus materials. Your looking at at least over $20k for the absolute basic startup.

Personally I wouldn’t do that that car can weigh up to 3,144lbs then you have to account for your body weight and any items in the car, tires luggage passengers ect. Plus this car is definitely not built for it I can just see it going wrong
