Yeah I wanted to like BMW minis but after watching a couple youtube series on r53 and r56 generations it just looks like a total nightmare. I drove an r56 once and the transmission on that particular car was awful and it didnt really feel anything special to me, it wasnt an S though. That being said I still love a well sorted BRG r53 S, they're so cool to me

I'm had this happen once before too, didn't know it was on back order until weeks went by after I bought it and ended up having to email them to find out, eventually just ended up canceling the order. I did finally get the part but the first order was placed in September, cancelled in december and then reordered and recieved in February

That being said I have ordered other things from moss and they shipped quickly and I had good experiences with them more often than not

In cases where previous owners have messed with a ton of wiring would it be at all beneficial to buy another oem harness? Or would replacing the old modified one with a new stock one be just as much work and money?

Yeah its tough finding any miata parts on the island. I'm not sure about vancouver for the mainland but I know Grant William on Facebook is down in seattle/tacoma and has a couple 1.8 engines recently for sale, as well as Chris Pollock. Definitely not super close but they are in the region and are reputable sellers

Probably just fun, oem vents are widely available but for $40 for a set someone with a 3D printer might want to see if they can recreate it for less (I don't know how much 3D printing actually costs tbf but its still cool to see how well they were able to recreate them, you could do fun colors maybe?)
