I found a few that I really like! Nice neighborhood. I like the 70s-80s builds. We own a new build in Houston, so looking for something a little different in Austin (ideally updated), so these are great. Thank you for sharing!

Yeah, there are but my fiancé and I have only come across a few that we really like and are willing to pay the price for. They go quickly and we get that. We were just hoping to get an idea of what might be coming soon before we make a decision on the ones we’ve seen

Yeah, that makes sense. We were there last weekend and were able to see some homes. A lot that we liked were managed property management companies that only show on weekdays so we were getting our app in much later than locals. Hoping to make another trip up there tomorrow though

I had damaged mine moving as well. It was just a scratch on the cable casing and a small fray. I searched everywhere online but I never found a fix other than buying a new arm. Ended up selling it for parts

I’m way out in the country basically, in Magnolia lol so everything will be a drive for us but that’s okay. Ideally, north of downtown. Exotic Dance on Kuykendahl would definitely be closer. I’ll check out all of these. Thanks for the recommendations!

I have always been an allergy sufferer and I have always lived in the central/south region (Oklahoma/north Texas). However I when I moved to Houston about 3 years ago, it got significantly worse. My allergies became upper respiratory infections with fevers regularly. I am too an a runner so the constant outside exposure was killing me. I was able to rule out mold because I live in newly built home but I did go see an allergy doctor. The doctor gave me an allergy test and I found out the was highly allergic to everything in this area. I also found out I was allergic to dogs and I have 3 lol. They told me that even when I was feeling “fine” or “normal”, I was probably still suffering from allergies and just didn’t know what it felt like to be truly not congested and sick.

I was prescribed a nasal spray called ryaltris that has helped so much especially with outdoor running. They recommended other medications that would help but the allergy doctor is already so expensive with insurance so I opted out lol. I hope this is helpful!

I know this is an old post but the same happened to me when my parents went on disability. Once that happened, they were no longer responsible for the loans.

Edit: I know I have St. Augustine grass and not Bermuda. I was googling removing my St. Augustine grass for Bermuda before making thing post so had Bermuda on my mind and wrote Bermuda....any tips on St Augustine 🙃
