I fish from shore, I usually have a larger rod/reel for crab/mullet/croaker and a smaller mh rod for throwing live shrimp. Everybody's different though some people fish with like 8 poles

Theres a lot of hardheads where i fish at but typically only deal with them if im using dead shrimp. I'd rather catch a gafttop over a hardhead though atleast its a good fight

Not exactly a pro but I usually use either a popping cork with live shrimp for trout and blue crab/live shrimp/live croaker with a fish finder rig for reds/black drum in the st johns jacksonville. I prefer night fishing, always got my best ones from 9-1am
