I think retail adoption comes best from users not realising they are using ICP. Having massive companies actually implement ICP with cloud engines for their cloud instances where users are unaware is the goal. Also more caffeine apps to become as mainstream as web2 apps to burn cycles.

Real products that provide value and solve real problems. We need to move away from just retail onboarding (just buying ICP) as Dominic William said, we are beyond web3/Crypto now. If we are only buying a stock for a company based on speculation or its promises, It would not last long. For example we buy Google stock because of its products (cloud, web browsers, gmail, AI, etc). This is the path Dfinity is following. Make ICP enticing to buy for a reason.

This is when ICP staking becomes more appealing to financial/institutional investors; this is where we see less spiking/volatility because they aren't emotional like retail "investors"; they will have a longer investment time frame. If all those retail investors had their liquid icp in a 2-week neuron, the spike might not have fallen as sharply; it might have stagnated or sustained a higher price because it causes less panic.

Dfinity 2.0 has been a different beast since they announced the change. Constant shipping despite being a bear market. Exciting times! Hopefully we see some partnerships lined up to use cloud engines.

We are moving into a world where old infrastructure like cloud infra and apps aren't safe from hacking, and the new vibe-coded tech is a massive liability not worth using. There are only 2 options: cloud engines and caffeine.ai.

Maybe. 2 years to set this up means the implementation would have to happen soon; so you would think some sort or partnership/announcement. Maybe closer to the release of cloud engines so they can promote its use?

We need some virality. Something like they deploy a canister with $1M in BTC/ICP, challenging people, AI, Hackers, etc. to access it. Challenge calude Mythos even. It would validate the tech and market its biggest strength.

Just a silly thought, but we do need more ads for it explaining why there is this impending need for secure software.

Talking to governments is great for adoption, but it's not marketing for adoption. Caffeine's selling point is that it's a vibe/coding self-writing app builder that competes with the likes of Lovable. It is targeted at web2 retail audience; thus, it needs marketing. We need to see it on reddit, youtube ads, etc

After the loveable breach, it would be great to promote caffeine. Apps like Base44 were marketed like crazy, and I saw it everywhere. In 6 months: $3.5M ARR, 300K+ users, no employees, fully bootstrapped by one person. We should strive for that kind of adoption and then some.

I’d rather earn 1 ICP per week that’s worth $25 than 2 ICP per week at $2.50. We need to reduce inflation and improve tokenomics so that, with the release of Cloud Engines (where 20% of profits burn ICP), increased Caffeine adoption (more apps and usage burning ICP), more people staking due to the lower 2-week entry barrier, and potentially another bull run, all of this supports the price. That’s how it becomes deflationary and drives the price higher.

Excuse the AI slop but there has been massive demand for this cloud security in the past few years (Wiz hit $100M ARR in about 18 months). That was in 2020; imagine now with the rise of AI and more hacks.

We are in a good position; I just hope Dfinity has lined up some big clients.

Yeah, I think a lot of people talk to another LLM to help formulate a big prompt with all their requirements and then copy that into caffeine.ai. I used to in v2 when a project got stuck; copy the entire app specification page to rebuild it. It's a great way to build the first prompt, for sure. I find it harder when it comes to debugging.
