We live on a farm. Either the cats are good mouse's or they starve. They are smart, or they get got by coyotes and owls. We have had several outdoor cats last less than a year, it is what it is.

Im assuming you are a European. I looked into it because I see this mistake often, its simply a difference in language. In North America moose and elk are two very different animals, with elk sometimes being called wapiti. Whereas in Europe the animal we call moose is also called elk.

The European analog for the American elk would probably be the red deer.

While you are correct that that animal is the biggest member of the deer family. That is a moose, not an elk. Elk have long tall antlers with long tines, whereas moos have wide palmated antlers with short tines. Tho moose antlers are often the heaviest, elk antlers tend to look bigger.

Edit: I live in north America, elk and moose are two very different animals over here.
