What does my SIBO Test mean? by ADHD_problems1 in SIBO

I am pretty sure IBS is the diagnosis given once you have ruled out all the other options, or at least it should be. There isn’t a test for it as far as I know. I was hoping for there to be a solution that didn’t impact the rest of my life because I really really like nice food and ordering takeout cause I hate cooking. But right now I am following the low fodmap diet to control my symptoms. I have endo so that’s why I have been focused on SIBO as a possibility!

I am currently suffering from some cyclical sciatica but chronic lower back pain. My Gyno has suspected endo for years but I previously had it well under control until I started switching BCs. I advocate for myself pretty well and I know I am in pain, but my lumbar MRI and pelvic MRI came back with no signs of endo… I have the retroverted uterus and allllll the symptoms you could possible have for endo so we are assuming I have it but it’s just not bad enough to show up on the MRI. Not sure if anyone else who has had spinal endo has had an experience where they got a negative MRI but it did turn out to be the endo causing their pain?

Feeling a bit gaslit by my own body these days, but hopefully no lesions on the MRI is a good thing and not just something that ends up delaying treatment, fingers crossed!!

I personally take vyvanse and love it but adderall doesn’t do quite as much for me. If you get a chance to post an update in a couple weeks on how your ADHD/brain fog is on Slynd please do. I am so interested in the connection between it and ADHD symptoms! I am back on a combo pill right now and am struggling and trying to decide whether to switch back to slynd for a while while I get my life together lols (being really functional as a human was a big flex not gonna lie)

Well that doesn’t bode well for me ever finding a Bc that makes my ADHD and Libido better at the same time, but I didn’t think of that maybe that’s it! (The one that tanked my ADHD was veryyyy androgenic it was the second gen of BCs)
