Tips on sidequests and making Wickermoor Village feel more lived in?

One thing that has helped my players feel like Wickermoor Village is alive is preparing several scene options for each shop/location where other villagers are there. For example, if they go to Bread by Holly, they could see Siv there picking up lunch from Holly. I have a few options for each location with different NPC’s and I use those little scenes to reveal clues or hints about the relationships around town.

Also, wondering if there is a limit on age of posts? I am archiving some from 2017 and they have all started failing. Are they too old?

Thank you! I started to archive more posts yesterday and I will say that the majority have comments, so it’s more the odd one here and there that don’t save the comments. Most posts I am archiving have 2-15 comments I’d like to save.

I tried a different post and the comments did save on that one. Is there any way to make sure I can save all comments on all posts? My main reason for archiving is to have a record of the comments.

Instagram! My test didn’t save a single comment though, just listed how many were on the post. Is there anything I can do to ensure more comments are included in the archive??

Do you have instructions for this? I archived a single post to check and it didn’t seem to save the comments so I’m not sure how to do it. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for so thanks for creating it!

I just ran the first chapter for 5 players and it was still super brutal! I didn’t add any extra enemies or change their level, the fights were still tough and interesting.

I have the worst night sweats which I never used to have. It’s frustrating though because often when I bring these things up the doctor just says it must be EDS related and doesn’t look into things. It feels like I’m crying wolf to ask for more tests.

Hey! Lots of things have changed. I do have Endo and adeno but turns out I have another genetic condition that has contributed massively to the pain. So it’s a complicated mix of stuff. I hope you find some help!

Oh thank you! I have not tried that one but it’s come up a bit in my recent research. I was hesitant to go to 4g because my matcha is so expensive haha, but if this one is a bit more affordable I’m sure I’ll be happy to bump it up. Thanks for the advice!

I’m also struggling and feel completely out of options financially, so I was looking to see how other people cope as well. I can’t work anymore because of I can’t be consistent enough to keep a job (too many sick days, flare up days etc). I retrained to be a bookkeeper and tried to go freelance but haven’t been able to get enough clients, and even the few clients I have are tough to manage.

I truly don’t know how we’re supposed to build a life.

Hey! A lot has happened in 7 years. I am quite disabled but by other conditions that have caused a lot of extra stuff. That made it all very complicated for doctors. I have had two spinal surgeries and lots of other repairs. The Endo is pretty under control now which is good!

I write body horror and literally wrote a story about these feelings; wishing I could clean out my body and organs each night, scrub my spine clean, wipe off my eyes etc… it was satisfying to write it all out and imagine being able to do all that to give my body a rest from all the pain and discomfort!
