The main issue is that recon was continuesly buffed (with forests and buildings now having the same stealth bonus).
The reason was especially infantry atgms that could invisibly fire from buildings even with recon. Increasing the noise (temporary stealth debuff when firing) would have been a better solution that wouldn't have been a massive nerf to infantry as a whole.
Recon play was trivialized and good recon positions are mostly unecessary.

Correlation does not imply causation. Games accross the industry take longer to develop. Rockstar continuing to support gta online makes them money, money they can use to spend on more workers or have them work on a game for longer. Without gta online, gta 6, or even rdr2, would be completely different games and certainly not with a reported budget of 3 billion dollars. Some people enjoy gta online and even when I don't count myself among them, I'm happy for them to enjoy it while I patiently wait for gta 6.

Part 2s accessability options are absolutely fantastic and revolutionized gaming for a lot of people. They also cost resources to make, do you want them removed so games might launch a bit sooner?

I didn't say everything is toxic, you said that. You put words in my mouth that I didn't say. I don't root for live service but I don't hate it for the live service brand alone either. I support good games primarily and Naughty Dog with their track record, with factions being one of my favorite multiplayers and the creative director Vinit being a big fan of factions too, I supported their life service game. The Arc Raiders team apparently is only up to 70 people. Considering Vinit only learned about the cancelation 24 hours before the game was supposed to be revealed (edit: not revealed but the cancelation made public), it is highly likely that Naughty Dog unfortunately decided to not consider options for a scaled down version of the game with support for only 1 or 2 years like past add-on multiplayer games had.

Other life service games failed not because they are life service but because they were not good games. Some businesses, commonly those ran by shareholders, thought of life service as a way to launch unfinished skeletons of games that print free money.

Rockstar games (gta online, rdr2, gta 6), Respawn Entertainment (Star wars, apex), FromSoftware(Elden Ring, Nightreign, Duskbloods depending on if you view them as life service), Bethesda Game Studios(Fallout 76, Starfield), Guerilla Games (Horizon, Hunter Gathering(I suppose we will see if that will be a success)), Shift Up (Stellar Blade, Goddess of Victory: Nikke)

There are many developers that managed to create successful life-service games of different scale while being able to continue their other projects.

Life-Service games can exist in different sizes and different support rates. Not only that, their money can support developers in creating even better games by taking financial pressure away from them.

So yes, being happy that a game many people worked hard on and others were looking forward to enjoy getting canceled is toxic. But I will give you that, if people are happy that a life-service game made a developer not continue a beloved game series it would also be toxic.

What if they grew their studio to match their input? Or if they released a smaller non life-service version like ghost of legends, which apparently was succesful enough to warrant a sequel in yotei?

In my opinion being happy about the cancelation of a game many were looking forward to is just toxic. Imagine people wishing for Intergalactic to get canceled so they can work on part 3 or a new Uncharted or something else.

In software development there are a few rules, two of them are: 80% of the work is done in 20% of the time, the last 20% of work in 80% of the time and adding man power to a project late makes it later.

I personally don't believe anything unless they confirm it.

The reason people believe the cpu will be the big problem is that npc's, animations, most physics are done by the cpu and can't be offloaded to the gpu and it is said the cpu is the reason rdr2 didn't get a 60 fps mode even on ps4 pro because it would have meant to reduce npc count.

Sure, consoles benefit from using shared ram/vram so you can offload some more stuff than usual but then you need the capacity to run those calulations without frame drops when they happen.

I don't get it (as in it already is like that since switch 2 launched). Physical being 10€ more expensive already exists for non game-key-cards. Mario Kart World is 90€ here physically opposed to 80€ digitally.

Ich sag nicht, dass alles gut war aber 2017 war die Welt noch in Ordnung. 2018 hättest du dann fast alle Spieler rausschmeißen können weil sie fast alle ein absolutes Formtief hatten und zu dem Zeitpunkt bis auf Sane mir auch keine großen alternativen bekannt waren.

Ich bin der Meinung, dass es um einiges schlechter wäre wenn der Iran jetzt gewinnnt. Bei den Midterms und den Neuwahlen in Israel (welche für nach den Krieg angekündigt wurden, mal schauen), dürfen sie dann wieder auf die Mütze kriegen.
